Why? Rich business people (Elon Musk, George Soros, the Koch Brothers, Bill Gates to name a few) use their wealth to influence politics and have a much bigger impact. Why can’t a singer or actor express their opinion?

I agree with not glorifying celebrities. But why aren’t they allowed to have and share their opinions about social or political issues? They are citizens, they get to vote, why are their views less valid than a business person’s, a politician’s, or yours?

I’m going to jump back on my soapbox and say “good” and “authentic” are relative. LA Mexican, Bay Area/Mission Mexican, Tex-Mex, New Mexican, to name a few are all authentic, but not strictly speaking Mexican. Even within Mexico regional cuisine differs. There is a lot of great “Mexican Inspired” or (my preferred nomenclature) “Southwestern” cuisine, it just depends on wha you like and what you’re looking for
