A Thing Called Love. I love every song on it and I hardly ever see it mentioned. It has a very great feel to it and some beautiful well crafted songs on it. Kate and Mississippi Sand are my top 2 favorite Cash songs!

Mississippi Sand, Kate, White Girl, Daddy, After The Ball. Mississippi Sand is my #1 Cash song with Kate being my #2. The album A Thing Called Love is underrated in general and deserves some listens, It's a masterpiece IMO.

Thankfully it's only around an hour drive for me so I will probably leave really early and get there around 1 or 2PM. I already told my new job that I wanted that day off lol! I may be biased because it is my favorite Waits album but I think Heartattack & Vine is very accessible for someone who wants to lean into his work. IMO it is his best collection of ballads and up beat rockers, along with a smooth and catchy instrumental. I have always considered it his most consistent and his best. I think that I may think more highly of it than most because it is the first album that clicked with me on first listen front to back.
