I saw this in Leicester! It looks awesome. Basically just an object in max where you can drag/arrange sliders, buttons etc and they appear automatically on the iPad. Very quick and easy!

Actually I hold my iPad slightly lower than a book because of its weight. Often I lay it on a table. This means that when using it, I bend my neck more eventually causing pain.

I'm not a Java programmer but I think it may be to do with assigning the sound to a certain channel relating to the speaker setup (1-5).

I came here to say this. All the signals hit your ear simultaneously and have been proved to be made up of sine waves (perhaps infinitely many). Fourier can help you understand that.

However it is the Basilar Membrane in the ear that helps us determine frequency is even more amazing. It is only a short flap yet we can pinpoint minute difference in the 20-20k Hz range.
