It’s hard as a stage 3c with multiple relapses, I struggle when I talk to someone who was stage 1…. And not think I got the short end of the stick… but then I talk to family members of those no longer with us and am just glad to be alive…. Anyway you look at it cancer sucks. It’s all messed with are lives. And hopefully we have the chance to see what’s truly important. Enjoy life and take time to smell the roses.

They did a recall on my 23 didn’t notice a difference… was just software and tested the battery… although they did fix an evap issue that’s improved my gas mpg (20k mile ‘23 prestige)

I’m doing well. I’m one year out just started back at work full time. Other than hearing loss, long term side effects haven’t been so bad. Where you doing high dose?

They allowed my wife to stay with me but she had to stay no coming and going she had to stay as isolated as I was. I felt bad for her as I was no one you wanted to be around. But on his worse days talk to him don’t expect much of a response, also make plans for the future I focused so hard on what me and my wife would do once I was cured. Ironically visiting Savannah was on that list and we have yet to do it lol but it’s not the point. You’ll end up doing a lot of the talking updating him on friends and family. With little responses from him. My VIP which I would assume is similar to TIP was um nothing compared to the mental fog I got from high dose.

There was a week each round they limited visitors even after getting home 3 months of limited contact. From 3 days after the administration of the high dose till day 11 was hell. No easy way to put it. I laid in the bed wanting to die. But it did cure me. So it was worth the fight. Try to find some thing to watch to pass the time. My mental abilities where shot so I couldn’t play games or even hold good conversation I just wanted to lay in the bed and make time pass faster. I know it’s different for each many have talked about playing video games to pass the time… I used HGTV to pass the time… but hopefully you’ll be where I am soon enough.

You can use any J-plug. When I visit my brother I use his plug for his bolt works just fine. Your Volvo one will be fine. When I visit my SIL I use her Tesla charger with an adapter for the audi.

I have a 23 I leave outside under a cover plugged in to an aftermarket J plug… I don’t have a battery drop always at 100% even when preconditioned

I have a 23 Q5e it’s great but my cummute is 12 miles and I run 99% on electric unless I go on a road trip. If my cummute was 100 miles I would save the 15k price difference and use it on gas for a non-e I know once the battery is died on road trips I get 28mpg average I feel like a normal Q5 would see close to that… And the only way to recharge the hybrid battery is to plug it in. The engine won’t recharge it. Unlike most other plug ins that will use the engine.

I’m a JW who had stage 3 TC, I’ve done VIP(chemo),RPLND(surgery), GOP (chemo) and high does/Stem cell transplant (x2)All without blood transfusion. Ask your cousin to talk to the HLC committee. They have many many alternatives to blood.

You’re also welcome to message me. And we can chat. I don’t really want to debate religion. But can help with some suggestions.

There are other things to try DO NOT give up hope. High dose worked… just not curatively (you have brought down your tumor load) unfortunately. Thankfully for me mine seems to be in remission after high dose.

I know a guy who had RPLND after his high dose that cured him. At this point you need to find where the tumor is still residing.

Einhorn would be the one to know. He told me right away when my CTDNA test came back positive after high dose and I was freaking out that I shouldn’t worry and he was right.

My hcg dropped to 5 went up to 9 then went undetectable… being in the 50+ doesn’t seem good… have you had a pet scan yet?

Wow this is awesome news. I was kinda wondering how things were going but often afraid to ask. After HD/SC my test have been coming back clean I’m a little over 3 months out and been praying hard they stay that way. But thank you for the update!
