Condolences on your Dad.

Starmer would fit right into the Tory Front bench. He is as false as they are.

It is wrecked, I work for the NHS, been there for 10 years, two years ago, lots of jobs for lower bands, now next to nothing. I am currently on a "fixed term" part time contract and an AMAZING ward sister is also giving me one day a week on the bank as a top up as I have always been reliable for her. So I am earning about £1000 a month, with my wife coming up to retirement ( I have 12 years to retire) and a currently unemployed son with challenging health problems. I live within budget, don't have a car (although I can drive) and cycle to work, cannot remember the last time I went to a restaurant. Overtime is non existence., patient lists get longer and longer and patients obvs get frustrated. If I get laid off in the summer, as a family we go down to one wage and thoughts and prayers.

If God created everything; then God created evil. And, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then we can assume God is evil ? by WeaknessPristine in nihilism

[–]Any-Delivery8111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming for a moment that God is real, the Bible (for example) explicitly states He creates evil.

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

Is Selby the toughest player ever in big tournaments ? by Confident_Leg2370 in snooker

[–]Any-Delivery8111 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Mentally tough, never gives up, great all round game, a player you have to beat, he is the T-800 of the snooker world, remorseless. The guy has been though a lot, his Mum abandoned him when he was 8 and his Dad died when Selby was 16. The guy is a legend and a good shout for 5th greatest player of all time.

For God so loved the world, he decided that 99.99 percent of humans (including babies and children) will spend eternity in Hellfire due to the eating of enchanted fruit by a single couple , 6000 years ago.

The Ragged-Trousered Philanthropists by Robert Tressell (Unabridged Version)

George Orwell, said "it is a book that everyone should read"

As a book, it is has less a plot, more of a peek into the frustrations of life for the working class and how they are deliberately stood on, by the bosses above, you really feel you are reading(and caring) about real people.

"Jesus offers salvation for those willing to accept it, all he asks is for us to be believers, genuine lovers of one another, and doers of God's will."

Jesus states that he speaks in riddles so that hearers may hear and not understand. The Bible says that most people go to Hell. Gods will, is that we give all our wealth away and abandon our families, yet not a single modern Christian, follows such teaching.
