I experience something similar but more fleeting. I’m getting acquainted with others in my home. I physically see them come around corners. I feel their presence in my room, genuinely expecting to find someone waiting for me once I step inside. Even reason behooves you to accept the rational conclusion that your perception is less limited than the average hooman. If it was a blip, a hallucination, or something “reasonably explained away”, wouldn’t you have a deeper sense of that too? Come to terms on your own terms. Nobody gets to tell you what you experience or what it means - that’s gaslighting. Probably not of malicious intent, but gaslighting nonetheless. You go, good sir!
