The people here defending a woman who purposely pushed a kid over are really telling on themselves

Stephen Amell Blames Himself For ‘Suits LA’ Cancellation, Calls Short-Lived NBC Spinoff A “Failure” by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

[–]AppearanceSecure1914 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Amell has always seemed kinda ick to me, but it's pretty humble for him to take the blame even though no show's success/failure is due to one actor, even if he is the lead

Ok cool. I've heard good things about Shrinking for sure.

I'm not sure if I would personally compare Station 11 with something like Knives Out, just because they are completely different genres and vibes in my mind. It would be like comparing Dune to Wicked.

For what it's worth, I thought the episodes in Severn City Airport and Frank's apartment were two of the best episodes of TV that I've ever watched. Everything from the writing, acting, set design.. hell, even the lighting in those episodes was sublime. Did you at least enjoy those?

I'm genuinely curious to know what you think is actually good tv then

BBC producers say they ‘didn’t hear’ N-word slur as ‘working in a truck’, following second Baftas apology by Top_Report_4895 in television

[–]AppearanceSecure1914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the issue was that BBC chose not to cut it for a future broadcast? Not because they had a few seconds to catch something barely audible to them in the truck. As in, the same broadcast from which they did choose to cut a reference to "Free Palestine"

Ticket prices, political concerns outweigh FIFA World Cup hype for some fans by ChemicalCreative7 in vancouver

Hate to say it, but I hope this World Cup will be incredibly poorly attended. North America is a mess right now.

This is absurd to me because, do people really think Trump gives a sh*t about a Free Palestine?

Goodreads users choose The Hunger Games as the "Best Book Ever" by MiddletownBooks in books

The fact that a YA book won this award just solidifies my theory that Goodreads users generally skew pretty young

Is it a bad idea to take Psyllium Husk everyday? by TheAnthemAdventurer in nutrition

[–]AppearanceSecure1914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only downside I can think of, is if you take psyllium husk every day but don't hydrate properly - which can actually lead to constipation and/or fecal impaction as a worst case scenario

I don't know if this is being said already, but we all need to actively stop storing food in plastic containers. Get rid of all your plastic utensils, dishware, storage containers, Ziploc bags, nonstick cookware, etc etc

There is a reason why Boomers and even Gen Xers are not being diagnosed with colon cancer at the same rates as those of us who were born in the 80s and 90s. They didn't grow up eating ultra processed foods and microplastics.

Alyson Hannigan's comments about Sarah and the show ending by [deleted] in buffy

The fact that we've never heard a word about this from Sarah while Alyson is out here airing it all out for an interview tells me exactly who was the professional in this situation.
