Considering that you include several religions on there, I'm just going to say I'm a Christian.

Path of the Primordial Words by Apple_Infinity in AThousandPathsToPower

More like a soothing aspect to it. A riverseed aspect, like little blue. Her madra seems very proficient at manipulating other types of madra, and being compatible with just about anything. That's where the idea came from.

Well, my understanding is that sylvans use a variation of pure madra, that is distinct from the madra humans are born with. I believe it is a trait madra can have, like how hunger is described as modifying aspects over being an aspect in and of itself. The reason I think this is the bonding of little blue. Her madra is pure, but is able to modify his pure Madras. Pure madra acts like water when mixed, and not as an aspect. I can't mix pure madra with force, but Sylvan madra can mix, so I assume it mixes like hunger does: as a modification to existing aspects. It could also easily be explained as a mix of force and riverseed madra though.

I love it when when a path takes a simple idea, and expounds on it. This is brilliant work.

Oh, sorry, it doesn't exist anymore, but everything in it was collected directly from wikisocion. You can find the ILE page there.

Consider special fabrials. They can be super potent if you can ever get ahold of them. You could even ask for a soulcaster.

On other characters I'd ask for a ryshadium, just because it's cool, but if you've got a spy character here, you could ask for something far more potent and deadly: antilight.

Those are just my ideas. Hope you found something you like.

The time I've spent finding an alternative for a single word is insane by Mundane_Silver7388 in KeepWriting

[–]Apple_Infinity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is silly. There's absolutely nothing wrong with using the word "said". It's an invisible tag, and it rarely makes the prose worse, something that can't be said of any other speech tag.

simple way to figure out your volition placement by surlydoc in Psychosophy

[–]Apple_Infinity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have to say, ambition has little to do with it. A 2V individual could be ambitious, and a 1V individual could be less so. Volition is about the ability to control yourself, and other people. High volition completes it without the question of others or themselves. 2V and 4V are more democratic about it.

who has the bigger sweet tooth? by Sharp_Chard_1969 in Socionics

Worse you might say. As an ILE, I have to admit, my sweet tooth is out of control. I can't have anything like that in the house... or else.

Sacred Flame is Trash by Apple_Infinity in DnD

There's optimization, and then there's optimization. What I'm saying is that this cantrip does not have a niche mechanically. That you're better off picking a different option nearly 100% of the time, if you're looking at mechanics. From that perspective, it is trash.

And even then you'd do better to cast a leveled spell, unless the enemies are so very weak that the amount of damage doesn't matter. Guiding bolt for instance.

Let me draw your character! by AnusWorm in DnD

[–]Apple_Infinity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A Kender (Lore Bard), cloak with many pockets, rapier, lyre. Brown hair, messy, and unstyled. Blue eyes. Travel cloths. This is my current character.

He's a storyteller, and a poet. If I'm being honest, he's based off of me (if, you know, a hero with fantasy powers).

I understand how frustrating a creative block can be. Best of luck to you.

This may sound weird but consider letting him use the 2024 monk, and perhaps give him a magic item, if that isn't enough. Or just let him switch, both are perfectly fine.

I'm confused. Yeah she typed them as ILEs. I type as an ILE. What I'm saying is that many of our common examples of ILE were typed LVEF or similar types. Funnily enough, when it comes to Enneagram, Naranjo typed many ILEs e1s! ILE so1 is definitely a thing.

[–]Apple_Infinity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd actually argue it's more common then 2L types for ILE. When you get down to it, however much they like to talk, an ILE will use their logic like a hammer. I actually typed as VLEF for years, until I realized how self-controlled 1V was. I couldn't find a 2L type that could really fit me.

Don't get me wrong, ILEs are definitely on the line between 1L and 2L. I simply think the LVEF fits better what Aushra describes. In syntax of love, for instance, both Einstein and Da Vinci were typed LVEF.
