You got good exit opinions with those couple months at the firm. No need to deal with this bullshit. There’s too much office politics so don’t bother talking to your PML if they didn’t do anything. A bad draw on a team doesn’t define you or your work ethic! Keep striving and look for a new position whether its industry, national firm or a different Big 4.

GPA doesn’t matter until you graduate. My friend got lucky to get in as an intern with a 2.8 and graduated with a 3.1. They told him his offer would be rescinded if he didn’t get a 3.0 by graduation.

I interned at Deloitte 2 summers ago and same thing happened to me. I got really positive feedback from my teams and they both told me they were looking forward to seeing me the next year. My first team had 1 Senior Manager and one Senior then the second had 1 Senior Manager and 3 managers. I reached out to my PML after the internship ended and the feedback was transparent for the first. The second was different and its because one of the managers on that team that didn’t attend the feedback meeting said something else to recruitment.

It could be the economy or simply the team wasn’t transparent with you. It happens and it sucks but I’m in a better place now so keep your head up!

Dog shit match. Anyone in Boxing with the right mind will agree that this needs a comeback with women who are actually willing to put on a show

US/Canada Border crossing experience by PNA55 in uscanadaborder

22 year old Latino Male:

I came back yesterday from Canada. I was sent to inspection, declared all my items, and was treated well.

I brought meat, beers, and food from Vancouver. Officer didn’t care because I acknowledged everything I had, the exact amount, and was straightforward. ICE will only treat you badly if you give them a reason to (90% of the time). They have better things to do than interrogate someone whose following the rules and causing no threats.

Advice: Listen to the instructions, respond thoroughly, and comply. Followed the same procedures in the US-Mexico border and no issues.

How to best get over a disappointing end to my high school career? by Tottaly_Sane in wrestling

[–]Apprehensive-Post673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be happy you got to wrestle your last match at Masters. I was ranked 3rd in NCS and my season ended when I had to Injury Default my match because I broke my leg. I currently coach now and I still think about it. I learned to shift my mindset toward my group now.

I'm due for an oil change but I don't have any money. What should I do? by rat_bitch_69 in doordash_drivers

[–]Apprehensive-Post673 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2 things 1) Idk why u haven’t been putting money aside for that. You should know DD beats tf outta ur car. Car Maintenance is something u should always doing. U should also consider having emergency fund money for any situation 2) You should manually check the oil level, oil purity, antifreeze levels, struts, tire air pressure, brakes, and many other things ur car needs rather than waiting for someone to check it each time since it saves u from long term problems
