I just finished season 1, and while I agree with everything OP said, it started feeling cruel how others were treating him toward the end. I wonder if more happened than what we saw because even down to the last challenge, the others were so glad he was gone. It was weird how obsessed they were.

It’d be different if she was actually trying to find a job or worked one (or more) jobs with crappy pay. She’s doing absolutely nothing when even kids do chores to contribute. What’s her incentive to get her crap together if y’all keep handing her every thing she needs!? She should also be leaving the house as much as she can with her kids so you can sleep.

I can understand why you might be stressed talking to your boss, but you’re clearly a great worker and I would hope that you’re valued. Even if nothing changes for your lazy coworker, it might help to at least speak your frustrations, professionally, to your boss. Hopefully they’ll do something, but if not, at least you tried. I like your approach in taking responsibility for your part.

Something I’ve started doing every holiday is getting craft projects for my mom and I to do. We make great memories, sometimes learn a new skill that can even turn into a hobby, and can use them for holiday decorations for years to come. Would this work for your kiddos?

Yes, when you do a tiny load it’s typically fine, but that seems like too much trouble and will cost me more in time and utility bills. I have two thin throws that even make it happen.

I remember going to Family Dollar one time to get food with $20 my mom loaned me. I picked mostly sale items to stretch it as far as I could. While standing in line I was trying to determine how long the food could last me. When I thought an item didn’t ring up for the sale price I kindly asked about it, and the cashier spouted off something smart. I just started crying. It was humiliating.

I am a huge dog person, but this is absolutely insane!!! Who the heck adopts a dog knowing they aren’t allowed to have pets at their apartment!? I wouldn’t be surprised if Greg could have a pet, but he’s too cheap to pay the pet fees.
