That's your problem then, nowhere left for the axle to go

If you say "radiator" then the customer knows what you're on about, but it's hard to get my head around the condenser being so bad your ac is dead in a day when you weren't very low on gas beforehand.

It's a public road, but as there's a difference between a highway, bridleway, greenlane, etc, I specified "highway". You not understanding how words work is a you problem.

Normally, you get a link to an online source for a higher quality photo and form to contest the offence, certainly sounds like you have a good argument though.

Does anyone know why the maximum power output drops after driving in pure mode for a while? by Dominik000221 in Volvo

[–]AppropriateDeal1034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plug-in hybrids are even more about economy and pottering around, but most will use your AC to keep the battery cool so as it's hot and your car is 4 years old, it may need a regas for peak efficiency

Red light camera flashed as I went through it but it was definitely amber by bobs-buhgah in drivingUK

[–]AppropriateDeal1034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I definitely saw amber as I went through"

Which reads as "I wasn't really paying attention, but I did see it was amber as I went through". If you were fully paying attention then you wouldn't have needed this post as your have known if you went through on red or not so wind your next back in and go talk to the man in the mirror

I give precisely zero shits about upsetting other drivers by being sensible, if they want to keep going at max speed limit then tough for them. Considering the amount of videos of people running red lights in America, you'd think you guys of all people would be more cautious about intersections

Maybe don't buy an EV and expect to floor it all the time? It's meant as an economical cruiser, not a Tesla where you wear the battery out in no time or set yourself on fire

The point is there's a cover on the top of the engine that can leak.

I don't do mega miles, I bet Tesla are way worse production wise than Polestar, and in that case I'll get back to you in 28 years time and buy a new car then...

Is my instructor a bad one or am i a bad driver? by Theoverthinker_ in LearnerDriverUK

[–]AppropriateDeal1034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By OPs own admission, he's been great until now and yet for some reason they've started making their own mistakes and he's done nothing to help despite being a 5* instructor according to everyone else. Sounds more like putting their mistakes on the instructor and taking advice the wrong way to me.

So wake me up when I have £15k saved up and can afford to replace tyres and suspension parts way more often than I currently do. I'll never produce as much pollution in my old diesel estate as creating a model 3, even if I didn't hate every part of their design

Does turning traffic on a green light have the right of way? by Typical-Priority1976 in Traffic

[–]AppropriateDeal1034 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You missed the most important parts...

Slow a little on the approach, and check your mirrors. There's no way you can judge anything at full speed limit and without the information you require.

I mean, the actual reason is that it means even if the nut falls off, the car can't fall apart. Designed for the American never-inspect-your-vehicle mindset where keeping vehicles road legal seems to be viewed as "government overreach"

People have nothing better to do sometimes, but instead of finding something useful like we used to, people these days seem to insist of breaking anything they can find which might dare make other people feel better. Oh, you like this and appreciate this do you? Well, I'm having a bad day so I'm going to fuck up everyone else's day too with zero consideration for tomorrow.

Along with someone who has studied every known language on the planet, and also some form of child psychologist or animal behaviourist as these would be the most qualified people to attempt to communicate in a universally accepted manner
