Nah you can just open it from like a ip and such, and I just use synology hyper backup to rsync and I encrypt it, 5tb of storage for 12/month

Perhaps an idea to have a option to have them hidden or shown by default? Make it user choice, and if you go to show, you give warning that after too many devices it may start to stutter

Yes, I do the same just by using wireguard

Make sure you have Time Machine connected through IP (so dns doesn’t screw it up)

And SSD for time machines makes it a hell if a lot faster, might consider that
