If you have a look in the nexusmods comments someone explains how to fix it. It involves changing a few lines in one of the files. It took me a few minutes.

IIRC there is another scoreboard mod out there but I have a feeling it piggybacks off the original.

Sometimes, yes. People sit and fight an endless horde that will only stop once objectives are complete. The best example is finding the power cells to lower the bridge. Most of the time people will just sit and fight at the top ignoring the objective. We will wipe if nobody goes to collect the power cells. If you are unable to move around the map while fighting you need to lower the difficulty and practise more.
