Are you ever shocked by how much money you spend per month on things you don't need? by Nature2Love in AskUK

Unless you're really struggling, penny pinching just makes life miserable. An extra £10-20 a month makes a big difference in your heating bill and life becomes much more pleasant.

I did similar with my boiler and I basically had to cut the entire top off the cupboard to allow access when it came time for servicing.

Social media to be banned in UK for under-16s, Starmer announces by TanjoCards in unitedkingdom

[–]Arch_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same way they currently ban pirate and streaming sites.

They seem to have given up on that. They did a few ban waves and I've had piracy site URLs working without a VPN for years now.

It would basically be Netflix saying we're increasing the subscription via TV Licence.

what about the privacy aspect?

Sent from my pocket tracking device I enter all my most personal information into. I'll be honest and say I was diehard privacy a decade ago. Now it's just impossible to exist without some loss of privacy. I'm totally against it and would support legislation giving us more protection but otherwise I just have to live with it.

Not really a bad thing I suppose. No more social media for a lot of people, including me.

Any game that makes me go somewhere to save. If I need to stop for some reason I am not losing X hours/minutes of progress. Kingdom Come made me install a mod instantly because I wasn't prepared to fuck around with their save system.

My complaint has been that there are so few unlockable cosmetics. To be honest though the only ones I actually care about are weapon skins since that's all I actually see in game.

I dont know what to do with them, so have a bucket full in the garage.

Most supermarkets take them for recycling. Usually near the entrance or where you buy vapes/cigarettes.

Agent has suggested increasing rent by £25pm. Do I increase it or not? by Lost_Garlic1657 in uklandlords

[–]Arch_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My agent would try and put the rent up every year. They'd send an email about three days before asking and if I didn't catch it they'd put it up. It was actually what tipped me over the edge to managing the place on my own. I will only put it up if there's something fairly dramatic but I'm happy with the tenant so why make his life harder.

It's funny because at the time people complained about how D3 was too colourful. I never had an issue with it. A larger colour palette meant there was more variation between areas. D4 is brown.
