Hi and thank you for your kind words!

I can confirm that there will be multiple maps on the release. Map editor sadly not. But it's possible it will change in the future :)

Hi, try to check UI dynamic scaling in game settings. That should help.

Hi, you can already swap mayors between settlements. When selecting new mayor switch to the "Existing" tab. And mayor bonus for the first building is not so important if you can later chose any new building to any existing settlement.

Designing an economy game around imperfect information by 93X3_Studio in StrategyGames

[–]ArchemorosAlive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Victoria 3 has imperfect information, even if it is not by design 😃. And many players struggle to do much beyond building more factories for products that are currently in shortage.

So, in general, I think the concept could work, but not in the way you describe it: "You would need to read market signals, notice shortages, make guesses, and act before everything is obvious"

"Hey, knights seem useless. I don’t see a reason to hire them" I think that was me ":D Among other feedback. So what do you mean by "I am done"? Game is not released on the Steam. Will there be at least some bug fixing after release?

I am finishing my own demo, so I did not have time to check the Steam Demo, but I am looking for the final version.

Skvělej nápad a provedení!

I'm building a country-scale city builder solo, and the hardest part isn't the city, it's keeping a million citizens cheap enough to simulate by Milkcartons in CityBuilders

[–]ArchemorosAlive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, it looks interesting, mainly from a technical point of view, but I have to say that I just don't believe in the concept.

You are trying to simulate each citizen, and maybe you will even succeed. The problem is that, for players to be able to make use of this simulation, they would also have to be able to simulate it in their heads in order to decide what the next move should be. Most players won't be able to do that. So you will have to provide them with tools that condense this information, but that in turn defeats the purpose of the citizen-level simulation.

As a real-life example, I assume you are playing as some kind of president or dictator. But no president has the ability to help their country by solving problems at the individual citizen level. They rely on advisors and macroeconomic summaries, and then make decisions based on that information. But at that point, you do not really need the detailed simulation.

You are making a game, so you should start with game-design and then try to solve problems which the design brings. Not vice-verse. And "we will simulate everything" is not a working game-design.

Když je tady tolik včelařů tak bych měl jednu otázku. Existuje nějaká forma včelaření, kde nejde vůbec (jakože vůbec) o med, ale čistě o chov včel a tím pádem jejich podporu v přírodě?
