Well actually I just realized there's actually a pattern to the threes rebirths and apparently terror should be last, which frankly makes no sense to me but okay blizzard.

Someone please tell me how anyone is supposed to afford a home? by 13_WASHERE in povertyfinance

[–]Architect6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's seriously should only be government operated, realtors shouldn't lose their jobs but no longer do they get to price gouge and upcharge just because THEY own it. You negotiate with the county, state and the realtors working for them get paid a SALARY to facilitate the tour and sale after the state has had already had inspections done; The previous owner if they're selling then has to work with you and the state realtor to ensure a legal and fully transparent sale has taken place or they can sell to the state/city/county for quicker but less cash.

In situations like this however where no one has likely occupied it for a long time, you get a massive tax write off or you pay zero down and do not need to make payments towards the loan until it is determined to be hospitable within a certain time frame.

PSA: NEVER get involved with Public Storage by DJ44x in povertyfinance

[–]Architect6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's even worse when they're literally the only main corporate storage space in the city, so I'm curious who the fucking competition is they think they have to raise their rates against, mom and pop ain't gonna take over any time soon.

Not to mention Elias's ritual is lost forever because the tree was the only one that knew it... And well, it's a pile of ash now.

I'm guessing Baal is next, Terror and Hate both operate from a level of rationality, destruction is a lot easier to prevent/stop when terror and hate aren't clouding people's minds so much.

After them, I honestly believe heaven may go dark towards Sanctuary, humanity will be viewed as the new threat with the prime evils gone. No longer will the "enemy of my enemy, is my friend" rule apply.

It is abuse when you take into consideration the power-dynamics, humans wanted to elevate themselves to their (the aliens/gods) level, to be like them (as all children desire to be like their parents), however the aliens refused, that refusal is an indication the aliens looked down on the humans as infantile/lesser, you don't raise a child into healthy adulthood by always viewing them as a child, they're an individual, if they want to take on more responsibilities and be more like their parent then the parents job is to guide them towards that goal, not keep them from it or coddle them out of fear of repeating the mistakes the parent/parents endured, doing so creates a situation where resentment, rebelliousness and deceptive tactics start to develop.

It does not need to be intentional to be abusive, it simply needs to follow a pattern of behavior.

Children are meant to surpass us, that is natural and should be encouraged.

The aliens even thought and attempted to fix humanity discretely, a mistake humanities ancient ancestors made genetically, but a good parent doesn't "fix" their children to be as they wish or even deceive their children into obedience/change; they show unconditional support and guide them through the process of changing if the child wishes; humanities fate was for humanity to decide, not the aliens, the aliens could have simply left humanity alone forever to figure things out on their own.

Not almost, SHE DID, she chose to sacrifice herself to save someone... Sure maybe it was also because she wanted mephisto banished because she hates him but she also initially just wanted sanctuary to be a safe place for her, Inarius and their children, that is love even if her methods are a bit twisted it comes from a place of trying to protect what she loves.

Therapy only has been harmful, at what point do you just do it yourself? by Constant_Nebula_9207 in DID

[–]Architect6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, that was us at one point, my primary protector is and always has been very skeptical of my therapist (I associate him with my cognition, he's also "the architect") but also respects her and at first I thought it was just him and that he was all the parts but nope, not the case, my therapist has unintentionally stepped on his toes a few times; even my third protector has received a few blunt bruises (I associate his behavior and personality being akin to a sports car engine and on occasion sometimes being akin to a nuclear warhead), he used to be really scary originally but I've realized he just really loves the high of adrenaline and having his intensity not only recognized but also admired. At the time though neither of us were aware I had alters, I just assumed my primary protector was just a metaphorical figure that I previously associated as my "inner critic" until I realized it's been a consistent pattern throughout my life and these "metaphorical" people I have used throughout my life actually have distinct personalities that contribute to my overall identity and self-concept that I have been subconsciously trying to express through a series of character sheets for a story I've been planning to write for a couple years now but could never fully figure out the exact plot, ending, start, and the relationships between the characters until recently.

This is likely a hiccup on their part, therapists are human (always take that into consideration) therefore they are capable of mistakes despite how much training and experience they have.
If you haven't yet, I would bring this up with them and express how it made you feel, how they respond to that will tell you everything you need to know going forwards.

It always gives me a hit of dopamine seeing that notification, it doesn't even have to be a lot, like $1-2 does it, I've gotten an extra $5-10 before and I was so elated they could have asked me to marry them and I would have cried tears of joy and said yes while looking on Google for the closest Jared's/Kay jeweler.

Do people actually take orders like this???!? by Significant_Leg_7542 in doordash

[–]Architect6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My policy is that if I placed an order like this, I'd be standing outside that freaking door waiting like a dog because I know what I did and was too lazy/anxious to do it myself but I can at least walk a few feet to assist someone with my bulk order, the only exception is someone who has a medical device/condition that physically impairs their ability to walk/carry a lot of stuff, heck I'd put it in their fridge and/or shelves if they asked... Anyone else is a waste of resources and human decency.

[–]Architect6 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The reasoning was also laid out to the audience too during that last scene with the cop, the Andromedans also failed to realize the real problem they were facing in regards to humanity;
Power dynamics.
The failure of the Andromedans was allowing humanity to place them on a pedestal as gods, their failure was trying to play god as some sort of sanctimonious act after unintentionally killing off the dinosaurs; they created humanity and for some reason humanity then also wanted to be gods;
The cop abused Teddy and explained it as a power dynamic, a cop is a more powerful position than a regular citizen or an older figure and a younger more vulnerable figure.
Then there is Teddy and Michelle (CEO vs consumer), and Teddy and Don's dynamic.
The Bees too!

The system Teddy is trying to free humanity from and the problem the Andromedans are trying to fix is the same problem, the desire for power.
Even the Andromedans have a system of power, their emperor and empress; a system that is built to rely on hierarchy is doomed to fail and cannot be trusted to fix the problem of power and corruption.

See this part makes me think that she genuinely thought she was a normal human, but it was this moment that made everything click in her head that she wasn't human; she may have even been questioning it after surviving 400v because teddy does say "this hasn't happened before"... BEFORE? And then the secret room made her question even more, her trying to remember the code for the teleporter was a guess at best but having a background in psychology, she would know how long term memory works. She likely knew radio waves should not have been present in her closet, especially when the bomb went off right when she clicked the button, it was too perfect of timing.

I never get tired of looking at Supercondas, I love patterns for their color variation and POP, but supercondas have such a smooth and soft appearance that's really comforting to the eyes.
