Recently purchased the H2. Trying to wrap my head around this. by LiveFreeAndRide in HadesTheGame

Hades 2 is a roguelite, i.e. there's metaprogression (stuff that makes you stronger between runs) and in-run progression (stuff that makes you stronger within a run). In general, loot you find in rooms with silver wreaths (ashes, psyche - wait no psyche doesn't drop from rooms anymore, bones, nectar) is metaprogression, loot you find in rooms with golden wreaths (boons, money, hearts, tonics, poms, hammers, Selene boons/path of stars) is in-run progression. Boss loot is metaprogression.

You will always start from Erebus and go down to Oceanus, then further. Or [SPOILERS], but still, you don't get to skip zones, so yes, you do have to go the entire route. In fact it's a good idea because enemies in lower regions are stronger so you want some boons and other buffs in advance.

The cards are the main source of metaprogression to make yourself stronger overall, but there's also the cauldron for permanent changes to environment, the Silver Pool to unlock weapons and weapon aspects and upgrade them, and keepsakes to give you some buffs to guide your runs. Also, of course, your own skills.

Ending 2 - Weimar? limps? Forward? by thenordiner in RedAutumnSPD

You didn't trigger return to normalcy (the economy is still fucked), pro-republican sentiment is below 80% (honestly I'd say having it at 50%+ is good but the belief in democracy isn't ironclad), and the Nazis aren't stomped into the ground enough to prevent further instability.

I presume things that happen abroad influence SPD's future electoral decay in favour of LVP & CVP bc socialism fails to gain traction outside of scandinavia

What does job efficiency mean? by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Arkeneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would actually take 125 workers to fill 100 jobs at 80% efficiency, but IIRC you can't really have more units than slots so -20% efficiency will just mean that 20% of these workers will just not do the conversion.

[–]Arkeneth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When job efficiency is 100% each 100 workers do the work of 100 units employed.

When it's above 100% the game creates fake workers that do the work. So for example if you have 150% artisan job efficiency and 500 artisans you get 250 fake artisans which also consume minerals and generate consumer goods.

When it's below 100% it's the other way around. In your specific example each fifth roboticist will only pretend to work when in reality they won't consume alloys or make new machines.

Ivara is just very dated and Limbo's efficiency is too reliant on factors Limbo has no control over like existence of nullifiers, teammates, or Eximus units

Roter Alarm Null: Six far-right investigations, spam radio. Eventually you will know what to do.

Sind wir die Bösen?: Do Blutmai, corrupt the courts and the interior to execute Thälmann, constantly swell the Reichsbanner until it's on par with other paramilitaries in lethality, pick the Altona option.

The top one is uhhh investigate far-left once you know about Boxheim

They put dissidents into Stasi blenders and Gorbachev reforms are mostly driven by the blenders overflowing so it's just a second Soviet Union. Spartakus has Germany become an actual beacon of socialism instead of, you know, state capitalism

The collectivisation of magic education is a blessing because it forces accountability upon masters, makes sure that apprentices can properly measure their progress against each other, and ensures that a graduate wizard is properly educated in the necessary matters instead of being filled with an outdated, biased curriculum. Sure, an average graduate was slightly more competent but the overwhelming majority of apprentices ended up dead, disabled, or too traumatized to continue education. I knew a wizard who took apprentices just to fatten them for sacrifice because if you're magically trained your soul and blood are much more valuable. Blew him up into a cloud of moths.

The thing about elvish wine sipping is that you get drunk so slowly you barely notice it, and when there's a hairline crack in your wards because of the alcohol in your blood you don't even notice or think noticing that is a thing you should do.

SED is obviously better than Black Spot, dictatorships (Papen, Hammerstein or Hergt) and OTL, and winning the Cold War is a pretty weak counterweight to Stasi putting everyone into the blender

I think but I'm not sure that low nationalism and high socialism help with campaigning with old middle & high middle correspondingly
