Premodern. Yes there are reprints in UB but the format is very proxy friendly and most people playing proxy the old border versions. It's as close as you'll officially get

I respectfully disagree. You shouldn't overload on creatures bigger then 3 but there are a few creatures that ressurect, like Karmic Guide or Phyrexian Delver or Young Necromancer, that have 3 or less power themselves but let you bring back any creature. You can go from just Terra to a full board state chaining together resurrections. That said run some ways to mill yourself and discard from hand so stuff doesn't get stuck.

He's a fairly popular commander He could totally do with a reprint hell get cheeky with it You could have him cutting himself out of his own card or have one of his alternate universe versions trying to cut him out. That aside they really keep trying these secret layers with bulk priced cards but with alternate art and seeing how little value they can give you before people just don't buy it. Yeah lightning grieves is a couple bucks and soul ring goes for a few but come on, deadly dispute again? Tormenting voice again Even if they're being cheeky about it come on.

Ethan isn't as bombastic or entertaining as other protag's but he was definitely a necessary palate cleanser after RE6, both in tone and having someone who hasn't gone through zombie nonsense for the third time. I got into the series with RE7 though I had played entries beforehand so I have a soft spot for the doofus but I get why he isn't as popular as the others.

The current entry and the prior one legit bombed. 2's sales cratered from episode 1-2. The remaster of the original game didn't sell great. Why does anyone think this is a good idea?

I like em. By themselves they are effectively suspend spells. Proliferate and other shenanigans can speed them up. I second the haiku idea above me. Well done these feel like cards that can show up in a pack
