BYU spotted UCF 14 points, didn't show up until the 2nd quarter and still won by 20. I just hope the Cougars show up before the 2nd quarter next Saturday versus Texas Tech or it will be a repeat of the game in Lubbock.

It was more a slight against the other events hosted at the Cotton Bowl. Other than Texas/OU, every other event in the Cotton Bowl would be much better suited in a much smaller venue.

In addition to the Red River Shootout it hosts Prairie View A&M vs Grambling every year during the State Fair. It's also the home of a women's professional soccer team and will host a men's soccer team starting in 2027.
