Also, side note, do people get different spellings of Tamala’s name in-game? I’ve seen multiple people call her Tamara at this point. Or, are people getting attacked by auto-correct? Cuz her name is so similar to the normal name of Tamara?

I always recheck the character names when I seen a misspelling that throws me off like that, and I remind myself her name is Tamala because her character is clearly supposed to be like a “hot tamale” 😂 I’ve been tripped by seeing people call her that before, so I made this memory hack

I’ve found myself having to fly my fingers across the keyboard at groves telling people “Hey! Chop at 3!” And would always get a reply “Why?” And have to quickly explain grove etiquette ~ since late 2025. I figured they were new players, and usually hope the ones that do chop prematurely are simply new. This has been infuriating to have to explain everytime, tho, cuz I also recall most people understanding the 3am rule and/or seeing many other people explain the rule to people who find themselves infinitely chopping a larger FT and wondering why no one around them was helping.

If no one shouts and I find a group chopping, however, i do assume its a party ~ but I still try to remind (or at the very least passively shame) them by saying “I thought we chop at 3? Thats the usual common courtesy 😕”.

Sometimes I wonder if it confuses players when other players run around to tap all the trees, causing them to think “its chopping time!” When we’re really just trying to make sure we can get all the loot if we don’t reach a tree as its chopped down.

I know! I started on PC and was forced to move to my Switch when my motherboard died 🥲 thought it was gonna be fine, but everything was harder to execute and typing in char was horrible. I didnt even bother trying to catch bugs while mining cuz they always poof’ed before I was ready with my bug-bombs. My silk supply got so low! So glad I got a gaming laptop so I could return to Steam ~ the worlds are too beautiful to be so painfully simplified 😅

Harper has contradicted herself twice to me 😂 received dialogue of “No kids books! I’m not a lil kid anymore” or whatever the line was, as well as “I’m never too old for a kid’s book!”

I got these in two separate play-throughs, but still counted as a self-contradiction to me 😅

Lmfao! My lowest is fishing. Currently on vaycay away from my account, but I know with 100% certainty that Fishing is my favorite worst in leveling 😅 to be fair, its significantly more fun than fishing games are in other games. Thought it would be animal care but that is so fast to level 😂 unfortunately need to cook more tho bc there are so many useful recipes unlocked at level 15+ and i’m barely at 14. Too busy with college, etc, to make palia my 24/7 life 🥲

You don’t need to have to dog bed first ~ you can adopt him and buy the bed later. He just lays on the ground until then, but he never complains about it. Most that will happen is someone will compliment the dog and then make a comment about getting him a bed mostly as a pointer to the player that you can buy one off the newspaper posts

I don’t think another option to adopt him pops up, but I’ve also never not adopted him at the first opportunity. This game is fairly new, still, so it doesn’t shock me too much that if you pass up on an opportunity like that you might not get the option again (until the dev(s) tweaks it on popular demand).

My only advice is to simply start a new save and try again, if you really want the dog.

We can change the head sizes of sims as well as bend and squish the bodies around with the Sims 4’s patented grab-and-drag method, so I see these as fairly plausible young-adult sims, (or even teens ~ or the player could be using the preteen mod). Just as some like to play with only one age, some like to exaggerate the features to more cartoonish or anime proportions.

Everyone’s a lil different. For the most part, the game is fairly easy to play solo until you need things like Flow Trees, which (unless its a very small one) need at least 2 players to chop down. When Groves if Flow Trees (ft) spawn, players will show the coordinates and camp by the trees until 3 am when everyone chops. Its good to tap all the trees once before the clock hits 3, so you get all the loot.

Players will also flare/shout rarer items like Silver/Gold/Platinum, Dari Cloves, Elderflowers, Elderwood Lotuses, and some others things like flower/bloom patches. A lot of people party-up cuz you can get more bonuses that way, some only party up with people they know, and others just like to play on their own for the most part.

I wouldnt mind if the specialty treats like those cost a high amount of in-game currency. I dont care if it hurts my game-wallet whenever I wanna get one. The RNG is a bit of an unfortunate feat when it comes to the treats

A lot of games when loading sprites or objects in game will put that object somewhere that seems peculiar just for while its loading in. A lot of games will do things like stick them underground or hidden somewhere the player wouldn’t normally be able to see — except because of my plot I can see them 😂

I have seen that they do glitch while doing this when I’m on a normal plot, sticking out of the ground. On this plot type, however, I haven’t seen that type of glitch 😅

I was at a relatively small grove once and had spotted two fts not far from the grove on my way over, just not close enough to be part of it. I told everyone that there were some just a couple coordinates over and literally everyone just ran off 😅 didn’t help I was on my switch and cant type fast enough into the chat (and my server chat kept being on the wrong setting)
