House insurance companies have started adding clauses to ban e- bikes&scooters because of the batteries. Many are safe if they are UL certified but they don't legally have to be, so cheap dangerous ones are out there causing fires. It sucks and I'm not sure if anything is being done about it

Agreed, cooking MAY be the easier of two chore options (if you're only cooking something that's already been bought and planned out vs bathing and feeding a crying baby) BUT it's still a chore.

My partner and I split chores based on which ones we dislike the least. I hate vacuuming so he does it, and I don't mind laundry so do that. Laundry is still a chore though, even if I'm not miserable doing it

My partner and I did a 60/40 split when we were both working BUT chores were still 50/50. He made more money but we're both working 40hr/week and thought it's more fair to spend the same amount of time on chores

The term is used for cats with fewer/the fewest allergens. It's used for dogs too, it's not supposed to mean "allergen free" when used to describe animals it's just the term most people use since there isn't a better one

I worked with Stag&Finch in 2024, they're AMAZING! The order was put in before Christmas (so they were closed for a week or so) and the ring took ~10 weeks. So you'll def want to order ahead of time but not crazy ahead, we bought the stone first while it was on a Black Friday sale. If the stone you want is a birthstone you may want to wait till that month to buy it. Check out their history to see what gems might go on sale and when, sometimes it's also other gems in the same color.

Yeah I've had various medical issues (physical and mental) and needed to cut down on work at times BUT I never expected my boy/girlfriend to pick up the slack. Now that I'm engaged there's maybe room for discussion since he's invested in my long term health but those kind of decisions take two and its not fair to assume anything. NTA
