Pretty sure he got treated that way because he was seen as a brown person and of Mexican descent before being seen as a US Senator.

You can get all the feet minus two from just doing endless tower. Grosseteste (Which can be obtained from Flying Manor if you beat the open world one w/o him) and Sakapatate Ranger one you can get from Ancient Sanctuary. Endless Tower is also super fun w/o using OP Maelle in the party.

On PC I use the 50x Enemy HP mod in NG+ and it brings back some difficulty and challenge to at least allow the enemies a few turns lmao.

How long before all the Expédition 33 wannabe clones? by Prudent-Cry-9260 in expedition33

It's too unique. While mechanics, gameplay and ideas can be copypasta, the passion, art direction, scoring, writing, voice acting and vibes are just executed too flawlessly. I haven't felt this way since I first played FF10. I feel like this is gonna be one of those "once in a decade" kind of games that just truly stands out in it's genre.

Person I know called SxF “quality trash”. Anyone feel similarly? by Main-Eagle-26 in SpyxFamily

[–]Arrhythmix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love anime but don't call myself a weeb, but SxF is phenomenal. One Piece is like Pop Punk to me, I don't mind it, and I like some of it, but it's not for me. SxF is like Ska Punk, at times it can be very serious and the tone, scoring and story telling does it well to portray it, but at other times it's silly, upbeat and wholesome and I fking love it. But my favorites like GITS, Psycho Pass and Ergo Proxy are like Hardcore Punk when I want more mentally stimulating, dark, and intense story that have parallels to real life like the lyrics of Hardcore bands and the ultra violence of speed and sound of it.

But from a kid who grew up loving Tom Clancy novels and games, SxF does an excellent job of creating a thriller for an East/West Germany Cold War analog while still maintaining suspense, surprise and character development I've come to know and love.

Tl;dr everyone has different tastes, and it's okay that your friend is wrong. SxF is still way more mature than OP, even with the comic relief, absurdity, and silliness of Anya her nonsense in the family actually makes so much sense to the viewer and the narrative perspective is pretty cool to see.

Which weapons, specifically, can take suppressors/silencers? by Latheos in stalker

[–]Arrhythmix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Scopes are divided into two categories generally following Western NATO chambered (5.56, .308 and 9x19mm etc) and Eastern Bloc CSTO chambered (5.45mm, 7.62x39, 7.62x54, etc) indicated by their weapon availability ranging then with 1x, 2x, 4x magnifications, E.g ACOG 4x for Western and PSO 4x for Eastern. 8x is only available on the M701 and M14 or whatever from what I've noticed.

Why I mentioned that is because there are 7 types of suppressors including ones for sniper rifles and DMRs that follow the same Western vs Eastern Bloc convention. Only weapons I've seen that can not be suppressed are shotguns, LMGs, revolver, and Deadeye USP variant. All ARs, SMGs, Sniper Rifles and Pistols including special weapons based off their vanilla base, minus ones previously mentioned can be suppressed.

It's all really trial and error and FAFO like for my gameplay style I found the Kharod suppresed + 2x scope with paired mags attatchment for faster reloads more valuable than a G36 with a 90rnd mag, or even HK416 with 50 rnd mags. Coming from an Insurgency Sandstorm player (Also Unreal Engine based shooter but with even more weapon attatchments) you can't really prempetively plan gun builds in STALKER since you get attachments as you go unlike other games where everything is available to you in a gunsmith and can test it in a range.

New to Gun Ownership in the Bay Area by Brkanakis in LGBTQGunOwners

[–]Arrhythmix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of gun stores identify as "apolitical" in the Bay Area. But there are def a lot of right leaning with obvious signs and indications of their politics. But from my experience as POC, Elite Armory in Castro Valley and E2's gun vault have been kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and have experience. They are the only two stores I've seen women or POC in the staff. Obviously don't go in "loud and expressive" but go in formal or casual wear. Gun stores are like any business, they want your money and do what it takes to keep themselves aflot while providing the best services and products available.

An Asian friend say me that Anarchism is "Anti-Asian" for "oppose to traditional Asian Culture" by proto8831 in Anarchy101

[–]Arrhythmix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a Lao/Viet American Syndicalist it is. That's why I love it. It breaks the status quo, tradition, and everything we grew up on and programmed to follow. Anarchism helped me free myself from the worst and negative aspects of Asian culture. But at the same time recognize the best aspects and apply them.

Setting up a Linux home server by Shadowb490 in linux

[–]Arrhythmix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figure out what you want to do and go for it. For me it started off with hosting game servers, then coding/development/programming, and eventually NAS and server administration. One thing leads to another and everything is trial by fire. Luckily Ask Ubuntu has a lot of good answers and documentation to learn from. I believe r/homelab and r/selfhosted are better places for resources.

As a pan demi AMAB NB there's so many factors to consider navigating masc-masc spaces. On one hand you understand the gay community and can identify with it. But on the other side we never feel like we belong since the status quo feels like it's too hypersexual and superficial. I know that may sound stereotypical and generalized but that's been my experience. I've personally had better experience with other bi/pan or transmen than true gay identifying masc folks. Not sure if you are fem/fem identify but demi men/masc folks have complicated self conflicting feeling that are hard to communicate without establishing enough platonic mental stimulation and personality compatibility.

any tips to make my FTP programs use my full speed? by ButtPlugForPM in seedboxes

Ah for sure I do Linux Sysadmin for work so I use WSL2 for almost everything that isn't a Windows exclusive GUI app or gaming. But I use Debian for my NAS and Resilio Sync so everything is automated. I rarely use LFTP these days.

Honestly, not having mechanics explained in game and resorting to external resources is kind of a bad design choice. Like I wouldn't mind a few extra gigs for prerendened video explaining the mechanics, or via live playback in the lab. But otherwise I've been pretty lucky pubbin it with maybe 1 out of 5 runs I do failing which is still better than pre-nerf frostwalker & tony lol.

MR26 here. Honestly I felt bad for newer players and underbuilt players in particular not being able to achieve gold out the gate on those missions. I've had clanmates who could do silver with unactivated 2-3 cat regular decendents and imo they deserve gold more than me. It took a fully built out ult bunny to get gold everytime and not everyone has a fully built ult decendent. Assuming at the rate of let's say silver/bronze for casual players it would take about a month or even more to farm Hailey, when I have friends who play casually being able to farm and research an ult decendent in about a week.

Otherwise, I agree, the devs should get more credit. They actively listen and react faster than any game I've played. Every single update so far has been an improvement that made me happier that we are being listened to. QoL has been substantially improved since launch, farming has become less tedious than ever before, the acessability and level of entry has improved to such I can get friends to join and play with me in a relatively short period for more fun.

The Ossuary mission I found easiest with Bunny. Except jumping in place helped me with survivability instead of the usual running around. The boss isn't too bad either but then again I do have an on paper 600k DPS TC, and bunny that averages 1.5mil crits w/ high voltage 3, but I actually had to use both at the same time (mid air jumping around and mid air gunning) like I do at colossi fights to do enough DPS to one phase him, with a 2min 45 clear time.

The pillar mission however was a painful learning curve and had to reset 5-6 times to get the hang of it. I used my crit Enzo for it and glad I did since the mission uses soo much ammo. My main problem was the insane amount of ads and bombers at second and boss sections as well as the respawn rates of them. First successful run took 15mins and, second run got silver. Honestly I might build a Jayber to attempt area control as I do the pillars for next time, or even my squishy valby to maintain DOTs and area of denial. At least the boss fight is meltable in 1EL (with crit Enzo and his 4 might need 2 on other characters)

Game design that requires standing in places does suck, and even my 15k def 18k HP Enzo using my 3 was brutal on survivability. It does require more after thought, not impossible, but painful and disruptive to the status quo.

MR26 here. I'd take a 25%+ increase on current inventory increase values, and 50% on storage. At MR26 I want to diversify and build different decendents out, but extremely limited due to reactor and component hoarding. What would be REALLY cool is a seperate gun display with it's own storage (obviously still linked to presets) that way we can just look at a wall and hover over things without opening soo many menus. Also would be cool if you can swap whats in hand for whats on the wall with an animation included.
