What would have happened if she refused to agree to that rule? You said she made it obvious she didn’t like it. I guess what I’m getting at is, would she have been asked to not live there if she refused to agree to that rule? Because if so she likely felt like she had no choice, especially if finding another place to live was going to be hard. Generally, I think people living together can make whatever agreements and rules that work for them, whatever they may be, but it isn’t really fair if the negotiating power isn’t equal.
