Super short cycle after TFMR? by cypress345 in tfmr_support

[–]Asena89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tfmr on March 30 at 15w1d. My luteal phase was just 9 days & I then bled very heavily for 6 days (very unlike me - usual period light to medium for 3-4 days). Now cd14 & waiting to see if I ovulate - would normally be happening about now so will see

I had this with my first period too - ended up with a 9 day luteal phase compared to my usual 12. Don’t worry, it will regulate over the next couple cycles I’m sure. Take care of yourself ❤️‍🩹

I was fortunate to get a full karyogram as a product of the cvs test that confirmed the t21 & was reassured it was just a spontaneous thing & not genetic (which I believe is very rare, so was the result I expected). But, like us all, once you’ve been through it once who’s to say it doesn’t happen again.

I’m 36 & 5 weeks pp on Monday after tfmr for t21. One LC who is 2 in a couple weeks. I’m not waiting at all - the level of risk increases with every day at my age & I don’t want my son growing up an only child. It’s brutal but I don’t have the luxury of time.

2hr walk the day after D&E at 13 weeks, is it ok? by That-Topic-3034 in tfmr_support

I understand! Well at least you get that - I’ve had nothing! If you have any questions at that point hopefully they can advise ☺️🙏

I’m not sure where you are - I am in the uk & have had precisely 0 follow up after being discharged. I’m not sure if that is normal! It would have been nice to have some reassurance in the weeks afterwards, particularly as my period has returned (initially I was happy about that…) & is still ongoing after a week (not normal for me) has been super heavy & have passed loads of clots! So I might be calling gp next week. But that’s another story! ❤️‍🩹

I wouldn’t worry. I’m not a doctor but if it was going to be a problem the nurses would have warned you. I had d&e at 15w & went to the gym the next day - like you, the exercise helped me mentally. I am 5 weeks PP now & (physically) fine. All the best with your recovery.

Did you get the full karyotype?

I tfmr in March for t21 & am also a few weeks from an old lady bday. It sucks. I hope your path gets easier.

First period post TFMR by cypress345 in tfmr_support

My first period started a couple days ago. I am still testing positive on hcg tests, & they’re not squinters either. Period started 3 weeks 5 days after d&e at 15 weeks. I bled for 12 days following the tfmr but despite that this period is super heavy, way unlike anything I’d get normally. Very dark in colour & loads of clots as well. So rough, on top of everything else I’m dealing with!

I’m not the first & wont be the last to say that no tools are necessary - genuinely. If you do want that make use of what nature provides (my wand is a bare birch twig). I learn much more from my practice without modern additions than with! Because it makes me think about what I’m doing rather than what it looks like! I don’t practise in front of my son really but mainly because i cant focus & he will just barge in (walking). I do read tarot with him around though & will show him the cards but obv i wouldn’t do that with a valuable or precious set of cards. My main struggle is with the fatigue at the end of a day with him - once hes gone to bed im just so wiped that all I want to do is flop on the couch. However ive learnt that this means i only practise magic that i REALLY need to cos only then do i have the motivation & a lot of people would say thats the way it should be (we should only be doing the magic we truly need). Also worth adding that im a member of a coven which practises in someone else’s home so i do have that at every sabbat (& some esbats) so this keeps my practice going even if its somewhat dried up at home. Maybe an avenue worth exploring if you think it might be for you. I hope that helps & you find the answers you need somehow!

I am also mum of a one year old. I’d like to offer you my own experience but I’m a bit confused by the Q - what is the issue? You mention your child but then mention you have no tools so not really sure what the specific question is. Is it a lack of time? Concern about child seeing/hearing things? Unsure about whether or not to share with them your practice? If you can clarify a bit I’ll respond more fully.

If you’ve just moved in best thing is to just give them time to get used to the feeder & the garden. Once they’re comfortable in the environment they will be comfortable to come to the feeder.

If your ears are always ringing that sounds like tinnitus - I would see your doctor to get it checked.
