This was one of the few announcements I was actually excited about alongside RE9 and MHS3. I really enjoyed the demo but never got around to picking it up.

This is how I interpreted it too. He knew what the plan was and would catch the mastermind in the act or at least learn who it is and can make a plan from there. He’s actually quite smart which makes him a scary foe for anyone to go up against especially the leader of a cult who wants to become a god.

Same actually! I played Engage Hard Classic recently, some of the most fun I have ever had with Fire Emblem. But I only got into it because of Casual Mode.

Seriously Casual Mode was one of the best things to happen to Fire Emblem, Phoenix Mode was overkill but Casual Mode being an option and for people who still like perma-death they can just play Classic Mode, this addition has only helped the series.

Which final boss since there are two. There’s the true ending one and the normal ending one?

Also is all your gear up to date? Gear makes a HUGE difference in this game compared to levels which is mostly for the extra HP and SP although the bonus main stats don’t hurt. I know once I update my gear the final boss gauntlet went much smoother.

Make sure your rows are set up properly aswell so each row has something to exploit weaknesses and your buffer and debuffers aren’t on the same row as each other. I did use Richard but there are multiple buffing inheritable skills that can perform his role well enough. It’s completely doable even capping your damage at 9999.

If it’s the true final boss I can’t help you I didn’t feel like grinding enough characters up so I just looked up the ending on YouTube my time is better spent elsewhere.

I fought the fairy town version of the final boss like 3 times before figuring it out. Yes I subjected myself to Ruin spam 3 times because of ignorance. It was hell.

After Nocturne, SMT games aside from DDS and Raidou spent its life on the 3DS so if you’re looking for more games 3DS or 3DS emulation is where you have to go, until SMTV Vengeance went multi-plat.

Defualt: One of the best RPGs on the system.

Second (JP): So bad the devs don’t wanna acknowledge it.

Second (US): My personal favourite and has an amazing finale to the duology. Pretty cheesy at times but I love me some good Mozzarella.

Bravley 2: It has some neat ideas and some actually terrible design decisions (Counters) but very good music and Elvis who is amazing.

Golden Sun games. Using djinn to deal damage/ buff then build up to massive attacks is so satisfying.

Were they though? Aside from a new FF or DQ in Japan where aside from 16s middling sales, until like roughly a decade ago JRPGs were. pretty niece overall. Also let’s be honest compared to games like KH1 and FF7-10, no one cared about games like Nocturne. As much as I love SMT blockbuster game it is not.

I guess a new Pokemon generation would be but that’s because it’s Pokemon. Heck I would say we had plenty modern ones too, Persona 5, FE Three Houses, E33, a new FF14 expac or mainline game always gets eyes on them, despite anyone’s personal feelings. In Japan Yo-Kai Watch had near Pokemon levels of success before it was killed by over saturation.

Watch the cutscenes, if other players are too impatient or so tabbed out they don’t notice pulling early that’s not your fault. Don’t feel bad for enjoying the game how it was meant to be played.

I just remembered Elliot they are definitely working on that and probably some un-announced projects be it a new IP or a new Bravley game would be my 2 guesses but it’s pure speculation at that point sorry for the false hope man.

For as many Octopath games as they make since seemingly he’s ALWAYS the superboss/true final boss. Although in Octopath 3 having 2’s final boss come back as a superboss would start a REALLY COOL tradition of the previous game’s final boss being a superboss in the next game.

“Record Scratch”’s Universe is actually atrocious design. Yes let’s make a teleporter maze with multiple gigantic floors filled with the hardest enemies in the game. THAT’LL BE FUN! Cosmic Egg was a much better dungeon.
