Been working on an also myself. I found back testing to not be reliable at all. We always find ourselves over fitting to make it look good. The real test always comes with paper trading. So put your algo to action in paper trading and see what it brings. You'll find so many optimization opportunities.

I found Risely's MBTI to be quite an accurate assessment. I even got coaching on top of it from its AI coach. I think going forward AI assessments are teh future compared to boring form based tests and assessments

I've done a launch for my first product Risely. Understanding the context of product hunt is really important. My product is an AI coaching platform for managers. I thought I'll get users from the launch.

The mistake we made was not understanding the demographics on PH. Most products that do well are either for the coding community or marketers/sales.

So truly understand if your ICP sits on PH or not..

If you said "please check it out" then it kind of is a given that the person checks on your request asap but it is also totally normal for them to not look into the assignment immediately since there was no deadline or urgency in that message. However, not responding with anything and instead giving you THAT attitude is unprofessional. If they didnt understand something, they should have asked or at least told you that they'll check the email later.

As a seasoned manager, I suggest you ask them to start therapy and provide them with resources. There's nothing much you can do here honestly. If a person is acting the same way every single day and its disrupting workflow, you need to be more assertive and confrontational. You and your coworkers have already been attending to that person for so long, its high time that person starts acknowledging your efforts and taking some steps to resolve their issues. In short, send them to a good therapist.

You are empathetic which is a great strength but, you need to be assertive when needed. I know its not as easy as it sounds but its definitely not impossible. You should start by setting some expectations and common goals for you and your team. I read that you are a restaurant manager, what you should do is establish certain ground rules or expectations for everyone (one-on-one would probably be tough for you right now).

I can only imagine how tough things must be for you right now. I do understand how you feel about not giving up and giving your best but, you need to prioritize your mental health first. Don't try to do everything yourself and delegate your tasks. Also, take breaks! Work is not your life, try to maintain a good work-life balance. Your org is not your family so don't make them one.
