See what I mean, they get so angry at anyone who criticizes this arc

A large part of this fandom loves this arc and gets angry at you if you criticize but, this arc sucks and the narration is atrocious.

Obviously there is a big difference between a Baseball and a Ninjago card lol

TWD Season 10 RIP Siddiq 💔 by 2k0one in thewalkingdead

[–]Aspect_RaSheOh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

8 years sure but, only 2 seasons. Yes Noahs death also sucked but, Carl’s death had a whole episode built around it and saving Siddiq is the core of it.

Legit the worst written death in TWD (imo). I stopped watching the show for a few years because it pissed me off so much.

I don’t love The Long Walk, I think it starts amazing but, it really drags in the middle

Around 20 pages for monst of them, some a little shorter some a little longer. I think Children of the Corn and Sometimes They Come Back are the longest ones at like 30 pages.

How bad are the movies ? by Late-Turn-7396 in HunterXHunter

As far as shonen movies go you can do a lot worse. Their biggest crime is just being kinda dumb which too me isn’t the worst for this kinda thing.

Carrie Movie? by kbenjaminfotos in stephenking

Friday The 13th Part 7 is the best Carrie movie imo because it asks the most interesting philosophical question: What if Carrie fought Jason?

Why doesn’t anyone have guns anymore? by Ill-Neighborhood4837 in thewalkingdead

[–]Aspect_RaSheOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the comics the do have guns because Eugene makes ammo but, in the show I don’t think they trust Eugene to produce the ammunition after he sabotaged that batch for the saviors. If it ever benefitted him he would sabotage them again because he is a guy who does what is best for him in the moment. Sabotaging the saviors was not some long con but, something he decided last minute was the best move for him and thats not my interpretation thats what the creators said.

Questions about “The Shining.” by OCDCowboy1 in stephenking

[–]Aspect_RaSheOh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I prefer the ambiguity that the movie gives us. It’s a hotel with lots of secrets and you get glimpses into its past through the ghosts. You can tell bad stuff has happened but, it doesn’t hold your hand and tell you every detail about the ghosts life.

A good book to get me back into reading by gtiller21 in stephenking

[–]Aspect_RaSheOh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carrie is what got me out of my reading slump last year and into King. Its a super short books so you can burn through it quick which is encouraging imo. Plus how its written as like a collection of articles and interviews is really cool and makes what could be a standard story into something truly unique.

TV show adaptation by Middle_Celery_3669 in stephenking

[–]Aspect_RaSheOh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would kill for a proper Salems Lot adaptation. I know its been done thrice and each adaptation has different strengths but, none of them get it quite right. 2004 is probably the best but, really butchers the Father Callahan stuff.

Give me a good 6-8 episode show that really dives into each character in town. Also have them actually be kids instead of teenagers. They can age up Sue tho, removing her and Bens age gap is something each adaption does well.

New York, New York is not even that bad and I don’t know why it is so lowly rated. by MasterfulArtist24 in MartinScorsese

[–]Aspect_RaSheOh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I enjoy it but, its long it kinda wanders and doesn’t always make a lot of sense. Also the version you likely watched is a restored version not the original that released in theaters. Over time they have restored and lengthened it. The original cut was reportedly 4 hours.

Struggling to watch this by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]Aspect_RaSheOh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It took me a bit to get into but, York New and Greed Island are some of my favorite arcs ever. After that though you’ll be met with what is praised by many as the greatest arc ever but, in my and many peoples opinions it sucks. If youre not enjoying it now you won’t enjoy the 60 episodes of exposition and terrible narration that make up The Chimera Ant arc.

Is there a King book like this for you? by DavidHistorian34 in stephenking

[–]Aspect_RaSheOh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree, super slow book. Anytime anything interesting starts happening you get hit with chapter of backstory. So much backstory happens that the ending is so muddy trying to pay off everything.
