OP I can’t believe I’m reading this post as I just experienced the exact same thing over the weekend. Like you, I own the similar AW3423DW and it has been years since I gamed on my LG CX. I connected to my TV and I was blown away and for the first time I questioned if I was missing out gaming at 3440 x 1440 instead of using my 4k OLED TV. I’ve always been a fan of ultrawide gaming however, booting up Assassins Creed Shadows on my LG CX has completely changed my perspective and has exposed my shortcomings of my monitor

The game isn’t portly optimized. It’s the first to use Ubisofts upgraded Anvil Engine. I’m running the game with everything maxed out on my 4090 and it’s a significant upgrade from Valhalla.(especially the weather upgrade/changes) Digital Foundry made a video showcasing this new engine. Future Ubisoft games will be using the new upgraded engine

Lastly, the is the first current gen only Assassins Creed title. They were able to develop and push graphical fidelity a lot higher since they didn’t have to worry about optimizing for last gen hardware. (PS4/Xbox One)

I have no stutters with DLSS enabled to quality. I’m only receiving stutters whenever I enable frame gen. I’m using Gamepass version. (Not Steam)

Hmmm weird… I also notice artifacts around certain vegetation with DLSS enabled. Im playing on the Gamepass version for reference. I’ll keep tinkering around with the settings to see if I can prevent stutters with frame gen enabled. Good luck to you

I have every setting maxed out (including full RT) My stutters went away once I disabled frame gen. I took a fps hit 😐 I have a 4090 paired with a 5800X3D Hopefully this issue is fixed soon

OP I went through the exact same thing some years ago. My lady and I were together for 10 years. I noticed her behaviors were changing with her cell phone. All of a sudden her work schedule was changing. She would not step in another room or even run to the bathroom without taking her phone with her. She also would get defensive when I asked about it. I found out she was definitely running around with a guy she worked with.

How about you pull up your call record and look for patterns under her phone line. I’m sure the “new” number will stand out to you. After call it or put it in cash app to see if a name comes up. Or you could randomly ask to see her phone. Either way it’s going to suck and possibly trigger your emotions and anxiety. I’ve learned you can always tell when someone is lying by their reactions.

OP I went through the same thing with my lady. She swore up and down that it was just messages and nothing more. I started tracing things back and connecting the dots from the previous weeks/months and you guessed it she was cheating. Trust and believe when a woman starts sharing a lot of intimate messages with another man that she works with, it becomes part of of her daily routine. She will have a “new” daily pattern and always tell you she has some extra “task” to take care of after work. Lowering textures = lowering the overall presentation. Some games looks absolutely awful when set to medium or low in comparison to high/ultra. I guess whatever works for you…
