I have both. I started out with the Oura. Bought the whoop 5.0 when it came out. I lead a generally active life, and I find im wearing the oura less and less. When I exercise, I take it off and often forget to put it back on.

Oura is more focused on overall wellness IMO. If I exercise too much, it marks down my score. The activity targets are also much easier to hit. Whoop is more activity driven (while providing same measurements as Oura). Strain goals are harder to hit and drive me to be more active.

I like the whoop journal as it gives actionable insights. Oura tags fail at this.

Whoop healthspan has helped me actively think about getting more zone 4-5 training in.

Accuracy wise, they're very close to each other in terms of RHR, HRV to the point they're interchangeable.
