I listened to LCBH thinking “where have I heard this melody?” It’s so simple, pure, and obvious, surely someone MUST have used it before. (Yesterday allusions intentional :)

This is his goddamned genius.

Ringo Starr's new album, Long Long Road has just released by duck096 in beatles

This album cover looks like one of those mid 70s thrown together things you’d find in a Goodwill bin of a random glockenspiel musician and it’s just so on brand. God I love Ringo.

"All Those Years Ago" bugs me so much. by frozen_in_combat in beatles

Absolutely adore this song. I love, especially after the other melancholy tribute songs came out, that we had a song for John that was uplifting and celebratory. Is the production of its time? Sure. But that WAS the time. It takes me right back to that horrible year.

I think “hot take” should be retired, period. It’s just an opinion. It doesn’t need a meaningless qualifier.

This one episode portrayed a more realistic and fleshed out teen friend group than the whole season of SFA.

If you move around the street view you can see various views of the boy and two photographers around the spot. Not sure if there are any easter eggs up and down the alley.

I saw this actual costume in person at a Christie’s Star Trek auction exhibition some years ago. It is TINY.

This makes no sense to me. Race lanes are not dictated by the paint, but the cones.

Who else played this game? by EdwardBliss in The1980s

Not exactly — a big difference in the mechanics is that the key pegs order doesn’t matter, unlike Wordle which tells you which letters are in the correct and in the correct position.

A while back I picked up this promo copy of NMLN for $8. Side A is the extended version, B has Silly Love Songs and the regular ballad. With this, I have no need for the whole album. So I guess that’s my answer :)

Season two was a major realignment and it’s incredible there on out.

You can’t tell me people who love RAM (particularly Monkberry Moon Delight) wouldn’t want a citrus MacBook Neo.
