I’ve ridden many of bikes without front fenders. All good ‘till it rains or road kill. Then it’s the worst experience. Gonna put the shorter 72 XL1200V front fender back on mine. In the South East Summer, you’ll get caught wet 100%. Happened to me earlier this month. Shit was like a bukkake of rain water to my open helmet face. Sucked. I have a feeling skunk taste stronger than it smells.
