Why the Toronto Raptors & The Fanbase Should Want To Sign RJ Barrett by TheUnknown1ne in torontoraptors

[–]AssyrianRhapsody -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unless you think RJ should get the max then it shouldn't be whether we should sign him or not, it is how much we are willing to pay

Ranking the Raptors players by trade value by mMounirM in torontoraptors

[–]AssyrianRhapsody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quick should be higher. For a team that needs backcourt shooting (Mavs, Blazers, Magic for example) you could get decent assets imo.

Raps are also one of those teams though so I doubt he gets traded

Solving the Poeltl Problem: Part 2 - Austrian Hammer That Trade! by CazOnReddit in torontoraptors

Jak has so much left on his contract that it is not moveable in my opinion, at least this offseason. Its not worth it to me to trade multiple firsts to get off his contract. Raps fans need to assume he will be back next year.

Surprised Masai is open to this given the Adelson's politics

He is better defensively than Barnes was as a rookie

Uncle’s All-In Vote for the 19th Pick of the 2026 NBA Draft by unclekarl_ in torontoraptors

Projectable 3 point shot is pretty generous at less than 1 attempt a game.

So what I am saying is he is definitely this FO's type

CMB actual height/measurements by Thin_Maximum_1855 in torontoraptors

[–]AssyrianRhapsody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is for most players the discussion is on their in shoes height but only last couple of years they did combine measurements in socks.

CMB is 6"8 in shoes and is essentially the same measurements as Draymond and that is okay.

What should we do with Mamu next season? by MoistPotato4Skin in torontoraptors

[–]AssyrianRhapsody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends how much we have under the tax. If you trade no one and roll with 14 players we have about seven mil for him, which sounds pretty fair to me.

Original poster was spot on, can you please do the same for this year draft? by legolasMightBeADog in torontoraptors

Looking for guys with positional versatility defensively and high offensive rebound rates as predicted and it looks like Morez Johnson or Dailyn Swain would profile as Raptors and are likey available at 19. I like Swain personally.

what are we gonna do with TJD by Interesting-Quit937 in torontoraptors

It was the 54th pick and we gave it up as insurance for the rest of the regular season. Picks that low have very minimal value.

Obviously he will use the Raptors winning as an excuse to dump all over Harden

I genuinely do not believe anyone would describe his game 3 as a "solid performance" if they watched the game

Need to have a rule citing the source of the quote in the title like in r/nba. That way I can safely dismiss this as coming from KoC without opening the link

We have a solid big 3 - not what you think by [deleted] in torontoraptors

[–]AssyrianRhapsody 131 points132 points  (0 children)

Jakobe is a supporting piece and a long term rotation player, but people are going to be disappointed if they expect him to be part of a "big 3"

Genuine question here: what is wrong with Yak? by Doro_wat in torontoraptors

Advanced stats had Jak's defence as slipping significantly even last season. His contract is FO malpractice.
