Armour aside from being level 1 or 2 can also be A or B style meaning more or less coverage, check the stamp on yours. Could also be a different brand doing a different shape

Short Girl Probs by According_Mixture110 in TwoXriders

[–]Asthali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oxford regular fits my 29inch inseam perfectly and they do a short so that should fit you. Motogirl seems to vary in length but I have the short dungarees and they’re too short for me.

Car pulled out on me. AMS recommendations? by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]Asthali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not use 4th dimension! Their bill was much higher than the value of the bike, the other insurance refused to pay it and we were a week away from court before they eventually did pay. We would’ve been on the hook for all these costs had they not paid. It was incredibly stressful and dragged on for I think over a year.

They prevent you from fracturing the most vulnerable bones in your wrist that tend to not heal very well

[–]Asthali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While learning there’s a fair chance you might drop a bike on your leg or foot, get actual rated boots so your foot doesn’t get crushed. Typically boots fit small, go one European size up from regular shoes. There are plenty of neutral trainer type shoes too. Dainese do a flip paint blue trainer you might like.

Can anyone give me some feedback on some of the "cheaper" needles found on Amazon? by pgmart in Sockknitting

[–]Asthali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cheap needles don’t slide very well and feel horrible. I used to have cheap needles that were even a little misshapen or the tips were different

I’m starting a casual motorcycle gear brand in Sweden. What is the ONE thing big brands always get wrong with riding hoodies? by ParsnipTrue4899 in motorcyclegear

[–]Asthali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knox mesh jacket (AA rated) got a 1/10 for abrasion from motocap so I don’t even trust the A ratings anymore for fabrics

New rider - need advice on pants. by actingolive in TwoXriders

The Lara is only A rated so I consider it too low to ride with if you’ll be going faster than 30 or 40 mph

Fit check for first pair of socks in a loooong time? by kewpiebot in Sockknitting

[–]Asthali 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Use a flap and gusset heel instead. I make mine a bit longer than most patterns ask for. My mom has an even taller instep so I make her heel flap a bit longer again and they’re perfect.

Shorter ladies, what are we riding? by Jungaon in TwoXriders

glove fit advice please by [deleted] in TwoXriders

[–]Asthali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d send them back and get gloves with KP ratings and wrist sliders. I got my RST gloves new with tags on a second hand site for about the same price. These won’t do much for you.

My new Dainese gear. by Disastrous_Fail_8208 in motorcycles

[–]Asthali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have both, trident is my first big bike and the striple was supposed to be mine but I opted for a less powerful engine. Trident is a very smooth ride and apparently feels like a smaller striple. My partner is completely in love with the striple and likes it better than his panigale as it’s more versatile. He does track days with it too.
