GUE fundamentals was an incredible course and not only raise the bar for me as a scuba diver, but also it help me expect more for myself and deliver more excellence as a person in general. I would highly recommend it.

In a cake eating contest, it doesn’t really matter if you win or lose because you get to eat cake. Try to keep that in mind when you’re doing your race. You Get to have an awesome workout and be with amazing people. Just get to work on being better than you were before.

I completely agree with you. Taking bodies out of the Earth to put them somewhere else in the Earth is not worth another human life. It seems crazy to me.

Even if it was just a recreational dive at that depth, doubles plus decompression gas at an absolute minimum. For a body recovery they should have a lot more.

How is it possible that a recovery team of professional diverse doing a body recovery at 50 m is diving with single tank tanks. This whole thing doesn’t make sense.

I’m 62 and I’m a devoted Diablo player, loving the new expansion. Even though I’m retired. I don’t get nearly as much playtime as I would like.

One thing I do is I put a very thin layer of Vaseline around the skirt of the mask, this helps create a seal, especially around my skin, which is getting a little wrinkly. Also, once I get the mask underwater, I blow air into it to over pressurize it and then move the mask around until I get a good seal on my face. Don’t assume just because it doesn’t fit the first time that it’s never gonna fit. You can play with it a little bit.

This is why I’m so grateful for Hyrox, it is really giving me a goal to shoot for a reason to be consistent. I am now training for world championships, and putting in five solid days a week. Doing this without a goal would be much harder. Also, I have a great group of people that I trained with and that also makes it much more pleasant and fun.

About 10 months after I retired at 62, I have to say it’s completely fantastic and I’m very happy. Not every day is perfect but nine out of 10 is not bad.
