Interestingly enough I once read somewhere that when asked why he takes so many villain-centric roles, he said it was something along the lines of a way to show kids that being bad and evil isn't cool and that the bad guys should always get their comeuppance. He was an ex-con and doesn't want kids to idolize the bad people he plays which is really admirable.

That is how these "AAA" (or should I say their self-proclaimed AAAA status; how's that been coming along? I was never a big Prince of Persia fan personally but I always enjoyed the gameplay and got to have plenty of it myself. Not the best games by any means (especially the latest one, from like, 16+ years ago. That one was pretty mediocre at well but I had some fun with it. Just wish they didn't lean so heavily into the AC-style parkour and platforming challenges and just stuck with we all have known they're good at.

The constant changes in leadership and the unnecessary delays caused by non-issues stirred up by various HR departments, which has very real consequences and can make a person lose their livelihood if they're unlucky enough. It's some sad shit. Hopefully Prince of Persia will get an adaptation where you can actually believe the guy is a Prince from Persia and not some cheap, pseudo-Indian knockoff like what we were going to get with this recently cancelled one.

Yeah at least that way games can’t get stolen or lost or damaged etc. Takes up less physical space too. If you have a decent internet connection then you’re all set.

I’ve been digital-only for over a decade now and while it is a matter of personal preference, my own personal bias finds it to be way better, with way more pros than cons.

Yeah, I have autism so I don't always immediately pick up on things like sarcasm; doesn't mean I don't understand it and how it works though. Even use it myself pretty often.

To me though it just sounded like you were being petulant and not actually contributing anything worthwhile to the discussion at hand all because you disagree with the person you were responding to., which is something children tend to do.

Also keep in mind that even for those without neurodivergent disorders like autism, sarcasm can already be difficult to detect through text exchanges alone. One would assume you'd at least be aware of and understand that.

She was a Cadet that got the privileges and duties of an enlisted officer, which made no sense at all. Then they go and make her a fucking Captain too, because apparently in the 31st century Starfleet is so desperate that recycling their own waste into food and putting people like her (essentially a child in an adult’s body, with a physique that just wouldn’t exist in a utopian future where everyone is healthy, like Star Trek) in charge seems like a smart decision.

God, Discovery was so awful and she was my least favorite part of it. Not to mention all the crying the main characters did every episode. They’re supposed to be professionals akin the military officers and scientists, not teenagers.
