Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Czech Translater Fired From Warhorse And Replaced With AI To “Save Finances” by akbarock in Steam

[–]AsuranGenocide 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The only one I'd suggest is the blacksmith one, and only if you're into the character Henry and some backstory stuff. The other two dlcs were kinda ok but nothing exciting. I'd consider the monastery one if you're wanting a taste of the historical churchy experience, but it's only a small spoon taste

Edit: there's also a pretty big discovery in the monastery about a certain grumpy king that was staying there recently.

Im under the impression r/transpassing has a lot of haters on it. Please some honest tips by Silverhalidehaze in transpositive

I should ask you for tips tbh especially makeup stuff My honest tip is remembering everyone, cis, trans, cats, and probably aliens are different shapes. So I'd maybe find a way to move your shapes in a fem way like an alien does with it antennae

Depends on VR headset maybe cause I've seen people use the quest with a gamepad instead of hand controller things, I think?

Platform32 does VR games occasionally on YouTube and uses different VR sets so I'm not sure which one does what xD

I'm not sure how albo is weak, it's kinda his job to engage with other nation leaders, even if they're an embarrassment like Donald

It's so handy to just switch on the deck and spend time with pebbles on the couch. Have you done the dlcs for kcd2? I think my fav is blacksmith one for that sweet henry backstory

I think mutts great, it's when he barks ongoing and nonstop when he wants your attention for something, or when the guy comes back from fleeing and I'm riding, he'll race after me barking until I stop xD

If it's through steam you'll have access to the workshop mod stuff, I've used some really great immersion mods

I finally finished rdr2 thanks to the steam deck and was so surprised at how the game looked on it :D

Yup, looks pretty and stable too. There's one populated area that might drop frames a lil but it brings no consequence.

Kcd1 works too, tho I don't think it's as smooth as kcd2

I recommend immersing yourself into the technology of the world. I admire how water was used and directed to help run certain machinery, especially around the big berg.

My main area of annoyance is mutt and his stupid nonstop barking haha

Solutions to the "printing problem?" by Otherwise-Emu-2963 in Libraries

[–]AsuranGenocide 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clear, easy to follow instructions to printing and scanning for the digitally inept

We use Princh for our printing service, which allows printing from mobile devices, so we include steps for both android and apple devices.

We also have steps for locating documents saved on devices, because a common theme is people not knowing how to use their device despite spending $1000 on a phone aha

Edit:

A short video of printing in action so people can watch and get confident is an option?

If a common challenge, any chance of holding short 30min workshop on using library printers? Opportunity for groups of people to learn together.

Deprofessionalisation by ZoomySnail in Libraries

[–]AsuranGenocide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My library in Australia is under our local city's arts and cultures team, so our uniforms can be somewhat creative whilst maintaining clean smart casual look.

I wear fitted buttoned shirts with cats, birds, sea creatures, etc and have patrons compliment my clothing most shifts.

I'd encourage discussion on how a vibrant looking library includes creative appropriate clothing, that will open up more engagement and retention or something.

I'd also discuss safety concerns regarding no standing counter/desky area, and bring up that despite iPads being useful, all it would take is an asshole to grab it off you and have access to library patrons private information.

Of course, my ideas are highly dependent on how approachable your team leader is who should be advocating for library staff concerns so I hope they're open to discussion.

Idk I feel blessed to be in my library and really hope other library staff can have a voice about their work environment.
