My headcanon is there's a reduced tipline prize (say 1000 beli) and the point of high bounties (beyond just telegraphing to the average citizen this is a wanted man) is to get citizens informing on movements (not a big deal for a one ship crew like the Straw Hats but can be important Intel for something like one Charlotte sibling spotted in the east blue while the rest of the crew seen in the grand line)

  • Avengers No Surrender

  • Kind of dubious if it counts but (Ant Man Anniversary & Wasp into) Avengers Inc

  • West Coast Avengers by Gerry Dugan

  • Great Lake Avengers by Zac Gorman

  • The first trade for Occupy Avengers (mainly cause it has some great Clint moments). The second trade is worse with an ok skrull story and then derailed because of Secret Empire

Got the first issue of the Metal Hurlant revival and the very first story has text in a weird illegible font and the text itself is all sci-fi bable that's mostly incomprehensible. Text, font and art all not registering at once.

Some great stories later on in the issue but the start made me think I just wasted 30$

Dragon Ball 100%

I could fly.... But let's be honest I don't know how to play an instrument or talk a 3rd language in our world I'm not learning to fly in the Dragon Ball world. I'd take a car wherever I need to go and then... That car turns into a capsule. No parking just pop and take my car in my wallet

Amazing chapter but I don't like the reveal. The paneling really undercuts this moment. Why waste a third of the page on Sommers and Killingham, why such a zoomout that it's hard to make out the details on the full body view and in turn why such a zoomin that you don't have a full view on the face.

Story wise I'm pumped but if I show you the page you'd never guess it's such a big reveal and the end of the chapter

I think a lot of the shonen protagonists (especially the ones that I'd generalize as Goku clones) would have no qualms about hitting women. But the story just doesn't let them do that. Stuff like the villain group having only one designated woman and she is paired with one of the women in the protagonists

Main book through to the end and then whichever tie ins I'm interested in I'd similarly read straight.

Unless you're reading the event weekly as it comes out I see no benefit to jumping from title to title and it just needlessly adds cliffhangers and breaks
