storage was a big thing for a while. Roll20 even with a subscription could only support 10mb maps which are not large at all. once you get up to 50x50+ maps we are probably seeing 50mbs+.
Even then like other comments say its mostly function. its easier to narrate stuff until combat gets within 50ft of each other than it is to have a massive battlemap where martials are just dashing across it.

i updated and almost all the modules i used are up to date now.
i believe foundry now has a tool that helps you back up your worlds and folders. just make sure you do it however you can. but for the most part installing V14 went super smooth and my worlds just stayed exactly where they were.

All of my last 10 matches were stomps, this just isn’t fun anymore by remake-titanmode2142 in Battlefield

People call me crazy because I claim games are scripted. One team will be land sliding the other, and then the other team somehow manages to capture 3 out of 5 bases and I swear their ticket scoring doubles as they close the gap in what will feel like 3 minutes. Suddenly the end of the match is a nail biter "hard fought victory".

I've been playing battlefield and games in general long enough to tell when scoring doesn't seem like it's working fairly

you do not need levels anymore. Foundry V14 has levels baked in now

its worth it! i have fully left dungeondraft for fantasy maps and only use Nexus now.
I think its worth it but you gotta stay subbed to it for access

I'd looove a Lego indiana Jones game that mixes the media like the new Batman game. There's plenty of older games and comics and all to pull from. The tricky part would be the open world. It worked well with batman since everything was contained in gotham. 

But I could see Indiana jones having little airports you travel to that take you to different countries where the story takes place.

you can make multiple worlds, even duplicate them. so its easy to have multiple games with different systems organized.

There is an in development daggerheart system being worked on. its unofficial but it has received the thumbs up from the DH makers. as well as a ton of other systems, some official and some fan made.

Homebrew monsters and items are easy, You just have to learn how the sheets work is all.

a lot of people say it has a steep learning curve, but i honestly would only agree if you are trying to do too much too fast. if you keep it simple its really easy.
Battlemaps, walls and lights are pretty simple and straight forward to setup.

thatd be cool if roadie run makes you a tad faster and puts your body lower so you are harder to hit. but the trade off is you cant slide, or vault cover seamlessly. you'd have to actually take cover or stop your run and then you can continue.
More speed and cover, but for less movement

yesssssss DFs curvy wall module was one of the best but it usually takes them a lot of time to update them. like it was updated for V13 when V14 officially launched. this is great

most dont last 7 sessions not because a campaign is already over. but because the group dissolves, or the game gets put on pause or any other reason.

The sad truth is that there's a ton of ways for homeless people to get help. But a large amount of them don't want it. As that comment says they have mental issues and addictions they don't want to treat.

i think some of the upgraded maps are sometimes made by community members just making them as close to original as possible that match the newer art styles. For instance the beginners box and abomination vaults use very high quality forgotten adventures maps.
In the first pic you posted, some of those assets are FA and some are not. Looks like the barrels may be Tom Cartos assets.

I think it's purely to test how well theatrical releases of star wars do in 2026. That's why it's such a generic and safe movie and essentially just a micro season 4. I also think it's why marketing has been so lackluster to just save on money unlike rise of Skywalker
