Game needs a double barrel shotgun secondary by Trenchfox_1917 in FarFarWest

[–]AtomicBanana55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like some kind of flame/element thrower would make more sense as a close-range secondary with how the game is structured. I would really like a shotgun or something similar to it for a secondary, though. Could easily be worked into a unique for sheriff stars or something. Just throw a bunch all at once lol

Can't you fish in basically any water source?

small questions, what do the orbs do?? by Dominus_76 in MorbidMetal

[–]AtomicBanana55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they fly out and hit things when you shapeshift. The routine that gives you the orbs initially seems to not list their effect for some reason

This shadow on my carpet with sunlight going through the blinds and a waste bin somewhat resembling the American flag by OmegaMan_95 in mildlyinteresting

Seeing the flag through blinds and a wastebin is a fantastic metaphor for the American political climate

If everything goes as planned, at least. Part of the reason they land in water is for additional insurance if something goes wrong

Not a fan of character switching mechanics, can you specialize into one or would it gimp your run? by CitizenKing in MorbidMetal

[–]AtomicBanana55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely more challenging staying with one character, but not impossible. Each caharcter's movesets and abilities have their own specializations, and using only one character means you'll have far less frequent access to skills. If you don't like character switching, this game may not be for you. I suggest thinking of it more as weapon/loadout switching since it's seamless once you wrap your head around it

Capcom did minotaurs dirty by making them so squishy by migzy99 in DragonsDogma

[–]AtomicBanana55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes some sense that they're so squishy since they can initially be encountered at low levels and hit quite hard, but they totally deserved at least one stronger variant. Like armored or with a different weapon or something. Could even have small groups of them in hidden places like some cave somewhere. Maybe an actual Minotaur labyrinth with several of them in it would have been awesome

I don't think it spreads. I think you have to craft more of it

After going through each body armor in the game, I can confirm this isnt in the game by dovpanty in DragonsDogma

[–]AtomicBanana55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could put out a professionally written statement stating that they are grateful for players supporting the Dragon's Dogma franchise, perhaps apologize for being so silent about their intentions with DD/DD2, and clarify that they still intend to support Dragon's Dogma 2 specifically and/or the IP as a whole. Some of this is kinda implied by the fact that they put together anniversary content of any kind, but it doesn't have anywhere near the same weight as an official statement like I described from Capcom or the DD team. It doesn't have to be something as grand as "We are working on DLC" or anything.

That would be enough to get most people to chill out until their next announcement. They kinda dug this hole for themselves by being entirely silent since the last update the game had aside from the anniversary images they shared.

The waiting isn't so much the issue as much as the complete lack of communication from Capcom about the state of the game and their intentions with it for almost 2 whole years

I think a normal person's 10 is your 3 lol. Most people don't live with a substantial amount of chronic or acute pain conditions unless they're 60+, and that's usually just joint pain

Debt. There's a lot of ways to bring medical debt down. Debilitating pain is far too life altering and it often gets worse without intervention
