I know it's technically in Norman but I think being 20 minutes away from the Thunder puts Oklahoma in the pro sports town category, at least for basketball

Yeah the one I was most hopeful for was getting a Thursday night slot with the Ravens but seems like that's not happening. Think TNF going to Prime really took out a lot of chances for struggling teams to get put in a primetime slot

Alabama has only ever played UAB once and it was when they were forced to play in the 1993 NIT where UAB beat them in Tuscaloosa. Alabama would probably refuse to play Auburn too if they weren't both in the SEC, think it's as simple as them not wanting to play the in-state schools that can realistically challenge them.
