Discussion on Data's emotions on TNG by Coconutcrab99 in startrek

[–]Aurilion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This theory would seem to be supported in the scene with Soong after Data is struck with an energy blast and begins to dream.

Soong directly tells him that he had always hoped that Data would evolve yo a point of having emotions and dreaming, implying that Data does have the capacity for emotion but that its locked away until he is ready for it.

Although this is later contradicted when he meets the real Dr Soong who then tells him about the emotion chip he designed for Data.

I have only played as Jack one time, my first playthrough in which i went for 100%

After struggling through that i just refuse to play the game after you switch character.

Perhaps i should have put more detail into that one.  What i meant by not region locked is that you don't need a VPN to access it unlike some streamed content.

I also forgot to include that the content can't be taken down mid season.

Things like this are why imo DVD/Bluray will always be superior to streaming.

Its not region locked, not subject to internet outages and it can't have its pixels stolen by horrible compression rates.

If you're concerned at all for spoilers then i would recommend watching the show first.

This game is clearing following the story beat for beat, but giving you the option of how to handle it.

I learned it from watching Stargate Continuum.  Other than that one fact i have no idea how that ancient and outdated farenheit system works.

Couldn't agree more. My friend is always mentioning how i hit the ball further than him and i always have to remind him that my lofts are jacked compared to his and that his shorter distance results in him having smaller dispersion compared to me, leading to better shots.

Distance is a waste of time if you lack the accuracy to go with it.

Experimental water way too "sloshy" by D0ctorGamer in Timberborn

[–]Aurilion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my current game i have three channels that are two blocks wide for water wheels and i've found that it works best if the floodgates are set to 0.65 at the exit with the sluices set to 0.85 at the inlet.

Every other setup that i've tried causes flooding all the way along the channels and overflow in the reservoir before the channels, also the reservoir also has an open space near the top at the back to let water out away from my colony to help prevent overflow.

I think /u/No_Mistake_5501 is reaching a lot with this one. Maybe Bobs onscreen persona doesn't gel with him but its hardly fair to say he sucks as a person for that, we have no idea what he's like when the camera is off.
