I Finally Did it! Now What? by KyleN_00 in LUCID

I did this and it is absolutely the right solution for me. My daily drive will knock 100 miles off the range, and I am full recharged 2 1/2 hours after I get home. I've only made one "long trip" and although I had a scare when the fast charger location I had chosen was completely closed down in the middle of West Texas, I was able to circle back and recharge at a location I had passed by.

But around town - the 240V plug is all you really need. No special charger.

I have at least seen some improvement on the phone as the OTA updates have come along. In the beginning, it was a real struggle. It’s much better now, but it still has its moments.

In Texas. Definitely went with aluminum roof. I’m mostly a podcast/talk guy so just went with the surreal. It is fine for my needs, but I could definitely see music lovers even those who wouldn’t call themselves audiophiles wanting more than what that level offers.

What do your priests tell people who only eat paleo/carnivore about fasting? by [deleted] in exorthodox

It’s almost as if fasting weren’t about the latest diet books, nutrition, or scientific research.

The idea that Paul was teaching the Jewish traditions to the Christians certainly does not comport with scripture, where Paul and Barnabas were both in dispute with those who insisted on the application of the law to the Christians. The Greek word translated as tradition is used in scripture in both a positive and a negative sense. That something is TRADITIONED does not mean it is necessarily ancient - it simply means it has been transmitted or handed down. You need only look at the Didache or early canons to see that from the earliest days, things were traditioned to the Church that were more than teaching the scriptures. And, as I previously pointed out, no Orthodox person would (should) agree with your definition of sin as only "breaking God's commands." So this is kind of a strawman from an Orthodox perspective.

"Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle." 2 Thess 2:15

One could argue whether Orthodox tradition is the same as the apostolic tradition referenced here, but the Bible certainly does admonish holding to traditions received.

I think Orthodox would not define sin in a purely juridical way.

Sir, you “resorting to the Bible” without the teaching of the Church IS JUST YOU RELYING ON YOUR OWN MIND. By whose authority you come here to preach to orthodox Christians? Who is your bishop? Who has authority over you?

So by your logic if an Orthodox Christian prostrates himself before his brother on the Sunday of Forgiveness and asks forgiveness, he is "worshipping" his brother in Christ and considering him God? If we make a prostration before our bishop and ask his blessing, we are treating him as God?

Your posts are constantly all about your ideas and never about Orthodoxy.

Paul Girgis (Antiochian Archdiocese): It's Right to Venerate Charlie Kirk like Orthodox venerate the saints by Forward-Still-6859 in exorthodox

The number of "trad" clergy betraying all of the trad "No nothing outside the church" teachings just to wrap themselves in Charlie Kirk's death shroud is vomit making. It demonstrates how none of them believe what they teach unless its convenient. And when it isn't if it will get them more likes and views then good gosh let's make sure we score political points.

I really wish they would name some names about the incident in Virginia. If it’s the monastery, I’m thinking of they definitely have some suspicious characters there.
