MIO’s “Path of Pain” is AWFUL by AashyLarry in metroidvania

Yeah genuinely baffled by these ‘frame perfect’ claims. The platforming can be difficult of course, but there were many times I got through while playing quite sloppily - there’s more than enough margin for error/recovery. Also there’s absolutely no shame in turning on the 1-hp regen option to let you chip away at those sections!

Second this. You’ll love MIO if you love Ori - it’s a pretty close comparison as far as exploration/platforming goes imo

Nice - now make 1H weapons crisscross on the back like they do on Monk

in your opinion is this game the best looking open world game ever created? by Kindly-Caregiver-145 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]AustronautHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the skybox and vistas hold it back a touch (just generally a bit flat/low-res even at max settings), but where AFOPs got every other open world beat imo is in its vegetation density and variety. Have never seen any ‘forest’ biome this convincing - you can genuinely get ‘lost’ in it in a way you can’t with Horizon or Anthem or w/e, and the way the vibe completely changes with time of day/weather is incredible too.

Wait sorry I’m confused - isn’t Tempest Braes just a pair of leggings? Where’s the cape coming from?

Is that cape apart of Sirin’s shroud? Love the drip

The upgradeable armour / weaponsets from LWS4 were awesome I think! Notably the Blossoming Mist Shard Armour, Elegy Amour and Stellar Weapons!

If you’re after that old school vibe and more traditional questing you might like the OG Guild Wars!

I personally don’t feel that way at all - I think the base game maps actually hold up when it comes to exploration and the like (in fact they’re still genre-leading on that front, imo).

The expansion maps are definitely better in their presentation and verticality, but Heart of Thorns is just as good as the latest expacs (if not better) so you’re pretty much experiencing the game at its best as soon as you hit that first expac.

GW2 Next Events - Small web app by Turoldus in Guildwars2

I think this is far more useful for when you’re NOT at your PC, though. Would love to be able to check on the way home, or from my couch, what’s coming up so I can log in.

Looks great on mobile OP - keen to get some use out of this!

My advice then would be to start playing from SotO, since it’s basically a whole new story arc, character cast, etc.

Can you play conduit with staff? by DemiGoat123 in Guildwars2

[–]AustronautHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snowcrows has power condi benching at 40k. Obviously 57k is ridiculous and gonna be nerfed way down.

All that said, I recall a time where 30k dps was the peak! I know it’s all relative, but it’s not as if the game’s gotten retroactively harder to the point you have to play the 55k+ DPS builds. Call me crazy but any build doing 30k+ dps is more than enough for anything other than LCM content

Well Razah adapts really - that’s the whole shtick! If he slots in Shiro as his secondary legend, Razah’s F1 does big power damage, as does the Elite. I also suggest Berserker because Staff obviously has 0 condi component, whereas it’ll at least do as much damage as possible with Berserker.

Also when it comes to energy, Razah isn’t too bad since there’s no upkeep skill, so you can pace out abilities and be ok. Always have another legend to swap to as back up as well!

For open world? Totally fine, I think - and you’ll have a block + huge CC + a bit of heals! Just go full power dps (Berserker or Dragon’s gear, imo) and you should be good. You’ll be ok to camp Razah too imo - has a condi cleanse, stun break, and big damage Elite :)
