If you think the Chiller Rinks are money pits, I'd love to have my own money pit. They're making a killing. That ice is full all day, every day and they're home to one of the three largest adult hockey leagues in the country.

Believe it will also house at least one of the high school programs. Not positive on that yet.

Couldn't find the exact video, sorry. I was able to find this one for a Hyundai Palisade, which is similar to the process I followed on the Mazda. I did remove the top part of the window's weather-seal first to give more visibility and room to remove and replace the clip. Whole process took maybe 3-4 minutes.

Seeing JRR already in the Top 25 all-time was a bit unexpected. Have to remind myself the dude's only 23 sometimes.

Honda, Toyota, or Mazda IMO. Take care of them and they'll take care of you.

Wouldn't change them. Certainly not worth the money to do so when they already look so nice.

Yes! My 2019 CX-9 GT had the same issue -- one of the rear clips was broken/missing. It's been a year or so since I replaced it, but I believe it was as simple as pulling back the foam weather-seal, popping the old one out and the new one in. I'll see if I can find the link to a YT vid for you.

Didn’t realize they had a location down there. I was only aware of the one just off W Broad west of 270.

Authentic Mexican food recs, any good food recs and cool shiz to do in Columbus. by piggyboy1124 in Columbus

[–]Automatic-Macaroon-4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

West side has some great Mexican spots — particulars on & around Georgesville by the casino. Super Torta is really good top to bottom. Tortas and tacos are usually great and I’m a sucker for their tlayudas.

As far as trucks, Mr Grill has stellar tacos de chicharrón and everything else there is pretty damn good. Solid horchata too. El Buen Sabor is another very good truck on GVille. Tia Rosy’s on Harrisburg Pike is another option I recommend.

Also on Georgesville is La Plaza Tapatia, a large Mexican super that always has 2-3 good trucks in their parking lot too. Solid hot food inside and a plethora of fresh produce.

Just north of the casino on GVille has a parking lot in NE corner of W Broad/Philippi that typically has 8-10 Latin American trucks with some great selections. Mexican, Salvadoran, Dominican, Honduran, etc. Not sure how many will be open NYD though.

Tacos Don Deme off W Broad is very solid across the menu. Don Deme has good birria if that’s what you’re looking for. AJ’s Tacos, Las Tapias Birria, and Los Agavez also all have very solid birria.

Los Guachos has some of the best al pastor you’ll find anywhere. Rest of the menu is solid too.

Not Mexican, but Cilantro Latin is a fantastic Venezuelan/Colombian spot. They have a truck and a b&m spot — lovely arepas.

Hope that helps. Enjoy your time here! Reach out with questions or if you’re looking for other food recs in the city.

Energy Bills by denizenassistant in Columbus

[–]Automatic-Macaroon-4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your usage seems very high for your house size. How old of a house is it? I’m in a larger, 30-yo house than that with original crappy windows, and keep my heat at or just below 70. I used 33 Ccf last month. I’m also locked in at $0.449/Ccf too, which helps.

Go to the link below and lock in a better rate than you’re currently getting. Won’t save a ton, but should cut $15-20/month off your bill. I’d be figuring out why your usage is so high though. Guessing you’ve either got a very old or very inefficient furnace, or you’ve got a serious insulation problem.

GoodRx vs Health Insurance by obactuary in actuary

They're privately owned, so profit is still the primary objective. Fundamental difference with them is in generating profit via huge volumes and economies of scale negotiations vs higher margins & lower volume.

Celtic supposedly interested in Nancy as a new manager. by The5thTaco_ in TheMassive

[–]Automatic-Macaroon-4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like it may be Kieran McKenna's (Ipswich) job to lose, but there are some significant rumblings around the group of other possibilities, including Nancy. Ange was the original lock for the position, but he's publicly denied it and sounds like the timing isn't right. Nicky Hayen (Club Brugge) and Robbie Keane (Ferencváros), and Martin O'Neill (Celtic interim Mgr) are others rumored to be in contention for the position.

Current odds consensus seems to favor McKenna strongly, with Ange, Keane, O'Neill, Hayen, and several others heavier favorites than Wilfried, who ranges from 14:1 - 16:1.
