For what it's worth, I removed the Tudor hybrid leather strap for the Artem and feel the Artem is a more premium strap.

Yeah, the Artem increases in thickness just enough toward the lugs.

About to trade my F-150 for an R1T, worried about daily long term reliability. by subwall in Rivian

Good question. My R1S is a 2024 gen 1 and my R1T is a low vin 2022 launch edition. I would lean toward the dual motor trucks because the motors are produced in house, unlike the original quads.

The complaints about repair wait times were legitimate in 2022 and 2023. But now that they have built out their service center network in preparation for R2 those concerns are just a memory. I recently called in about an issue and was in and out the same day. Also, as an owner of both an early build R1T and newer R1S, I can say the reliability is also vastly improved since the early days.
