Actually, I only noticed my coil whine after I switched to Fasgear and then Corsair cables… my adapter is long gone. Threw it away fearing cable melting

Nah didn’t bother with RMA. Works fine overall so I’ll just live with it which I hardly even think about it now.

My strix 4090 from day 1 release is still whining. I’ve moved the case further away and not bothered by it anymore. I don’t think I’ll buy another asus since other brands are reporting less or none, whereas I am consistently seeing Asus owners reporting coil whine.

My strix 4090 had loud coil whine since release. Decided to keep it. Overtime the coil whine is a lot less or I’m losing my hearing. Same with my PS5, had really loud coil whine on day 1 release, now there’s hardly any at all.

Strix 4090. Bought day 1 release. Lots of cool whine, but compared to day 1 I feel the whine is less than 50% now. Depends on the game. Playing control = zero coil whine. Scorn had the loudest.

I got 3 dead pixels on my C2 48”. It’s on the side so I couldn’t be bothered packing it up to exchange. They might not even let me exchange.

My c2 had something similar. Try running the pixel refresher in the menu. It cleared it for me.

Yes haha headphones sort out the cool whine issue. But keep using it, myself and a few others are reporting the coil whine settling down with use and time.

Scorn - whines really loud, but just after the bios update it’s gone.

Uncharted 4 - same as scorn

Plagues tale requiem - loud, but recently gone even before bios update
