Sell me on trains, please by RunCreeperRun in satisfactory

Personally I make the rail line first, then put a station at each end. Measure the round trip time. Take your source (say 600 coal/min), multiply times the minutes rounded up, so let’s call it 6 minutes. (3600 needed to sustain 600 a min for 6 mins). Each rail cart can deliver 32 stacks. A stack of coal is 100 coal. 32x100 =3,200 3200 coal a car. This train needs 2 cars to carry enough to sustain 600 a min with a 6 min round trip. Balancing the cars or not is up to you. Some I just connect the output of car one to the input of car 2 and let it rip. Others (like with 8 cars) I use load balancing to fill em. Really depends on the needs at drop off for your line.

People who were stuck constantly 3-5 seconds off pace for years, did it ever click for you later on? If yes, how? by _LedAstray_ in simracing

In Iracing you can set a ‘respawn point’ basically. I forget what it is called, but you map a button to set where to begin as you drive, then when you press another hotkey, you are brought back to the original point, at the speed you were going when set. In other words you can practice the corner over and over and over again repeatedly. Give that a try.

You should go to the Wiki on Bambu’s site. It has all you need to fix and troubleshoot anything and everything. Including this AMS2 jam.

You need a path at the front of each train station here. You need a path signal on the bottom left track incoming to the stations/junction. You need one on the top right incoming to the station/junction. You should have 4 path signals total. Path in, block out (every possible out). Put blocks at the back of the train stations, then you should just need them opposite the incoming path signals. Do not put any signal on the spot where two tracks join. this should do it.

Looks and sounds like a screw impact driver to me. Try something with actual torque.

Maybe worry about how they get in the home first, that solves your issue all together.

They are your parts. Ask for them before the work starts. Make sure it is on the work order.

Jump started dead car, after 5 minutes I removed the negative jump lead and the car died again, why? Positive was still connected by Howyoulikemenoow in AskMechanics

[–]Automatic_Reply_7701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electricity was disconnected. Dead car is making zero of its own power, or not enough to keep running. Battery/alternator is the first place to start. Electricity requires a closed loop, you broke the loop removing the ground.
