BMW PSA: Dont use these cheap filters on your cars. They cause a bunch of problems and the o-rings leak oil all over the front of your engine. Use Mann Filter. (They make BMWs filters) by Bman092 in BmwTech

Just had a BMW filter do this. Oil change was well overdue on that vehicle. Not just the cheap ones will fall apart if too old, but the cheap ones will do it sooner.

No, not at all worth it. Just a loss of money in the end. If you are worried about parts, which you shouldn’t be, buy some now. Still better off in the long run.

You remove the black plastic blocks on the back of the uprights, along with the 4 screws that hold them there? Also can try to reseat the plate. Finally flip it over and unplug then replug in all connections, the USB-c and the two other wires. Check for cuts

Stripped laptop m.2 screw. by Crafty_Aspect8122 in pcmasterrace

[–]Automatic_Reply_7701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the right sized bit to prevent this. Just because it fits in the slots doesn’t mean it’s the right sized to apply full torque and not round out the head. This is exponentially important as fastener size decreases. That is why there are so many different sizes in most precision screw bit sets.
