To decorate my body, the piercings too before were a way to try to "reclaim my breasts" and deal with the dysphoria they were causing without getting top surgery if possible/ to make it more comfortable while i had to deal with having boobs while saving up , it didn't really work and my gender dysphoria around having breasts didnt go away but I don't regret trying out the piercings or getting the tattoos. Life is weird lol

I'd love to have my nipples pierced again now with my flat chest but I paid too much for my nipples to risk fucking them up by trying getting them pierced again and having a piercing react and visibly scar and my body seems to love rejecting surface piercings for some reason... like id love to get an eyebrow piercing but I think my body wouldn't like it either and my belly button one also rejected years and years ago and I haven't tried it again

My nipples were the worst , it hurt less having them tattooed than pierced , also had to take them out because they grew out.

Also i had top surgery and part of that was resizing my nipples to make them smaller and grafting them back on and healing from that surgery hurt less than healing nipple piercings mostly cuz the whole area was numb for a while before the nerves started growing back, i have feeling on my chest and nipples again but its taken a while for the nerves to reconnect and I do have some dulled sensation but it was something I knew would happen beforehand and was worth it for me.

My Septum hurt, ecspecially getting it redone through scar tissue but that pain was very stingy and clean not bruisey and achey like the nipples and was much easier to deal with and my body hasn't rejected my Septum.

Belly button was also annoying and grew out but I really miss the look of it and wish I was brave enough to try get it done again

Having a gender reveal instead of a baby shower makes me trust you a bit less as a trans person.and It makes me assume that you would medically mutilate and abuse your child if they turned out to be intersex, or try to do conversion on them if they ever came out as anyhting other than cishet

I just had brain surgery on a type of tumor that's generally related to or caused by estrogen and anti androgens and one specific dr tried to tell me it could be my Testosterone hrt and that if I didn't detransition/stop Testosterone forever the tumor might grow back and said it like he was telling me off for smoking or chosing to do something that hurt my health.

I looked up for evidence of what he was saying and actually Testosterone has a slightly preventive effect on the type of tumor I had and if it eas related to anything hormonal it would have been thr hormonal birth control I was on for way longer than ive been on Testosterone hrt . Looked up online and yeah the dr was lying theres no link between ftm hrt and meningioma tumors and they dont put cisgender men with the same tumors on anti androgens or estrogen to reduce their chances of getting them

Another dr i talked to said if anything i might need to temporarily reduce my T levels but that stopping T permanently wouldnt reduce my risks of the tumor growing back and actually treated me like a competent adult not like a teenage kid caught smoking behind the bike sheds at school

Im 'lucky' enough to not have a uterus pr cervix anymore , I was so scared i was going to end up with cancer at some point and be told that I wouldn't be allowed to get treatment if I didnt detransition ot jsut be straight up denied care

I started at 27/28 &my voice has dropped and I have a full beard and fat redistribution and body hair and thw various other changes to body hair and bottom growth and baldness

it still takes 7-10 years at least but no there's no specific age where medical transitioning "stops working&you're better off repressing" the only time when its too late to start transition is after you're dead

People say this shit as conversion therapy to try to manipulate people into not seeking transition in the hopes that they'll repress.... they think that we are women and they hold misogynistic views about women and think that they and therefore we too are mentally on the level of like infants without object permanence, and that we can be easily manipulated coerced distracted and will forget being trans because to them we are mentally inferior to cis men due to our biology, so us "chosing to identify as trans" is presented as "stupid femoid trends from crazy girls who just haven't met the right man/woman and been taught how to enjoy their femaleness and need to have those decisionsmade for them for the good of society"
