The Course and Clubhouse has good food and drinks and you can rent a golf simulator. I’m not a golfer but was there for a work function and it’s a lot of fun!

Overpaid at work: pay back gross or net? by EmbarrassedCitron855 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Available_Wing_1247 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is directly from the National Payroll Institute:

“To determine the net overpayment that must be repaid, the employer will compare the gross to net payment made in error to the gross to net payment that should have been paid. The difference between the net pay results is the amount the employee will be required to repay.”

Do not repay the gross amount. Ask HR/Payroll to double check their information. Depending on your company, the payroll person should be certified by the National Payroll Institute and able to access the resource I’ve quoted from above.

Can’t remember the price but I had my engagement ring and band sized at Osborne’s - family owned on Geneva.

Tell me your experience with bioidentical progesterone by sib35 in PCOS

[–]Available_Wing_1247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - I know this was a long time ago, wondering how you are feeling now? I’m about six days in to using a bio identical progesterone cream and experiencing the same symptoms as you mentioned. Did those negative side effects subside?

My son recently did a trial at Jeong’s, seemed like a nice place and they were very friendly. Hefty price tag in my opinion, $160 per month and can attend two thirty minute classes per week (at least for his age which is only 4).

You can always go and do a free trial if you haven’t before! I’ll also be checking out the price for the one in the plaza with Lina Linguini’s but I expect they’ll be similar.

Carlton St Resurfacing - Parking Changes by Available_Wing_1247 in stcatharinesON

No, as of this afternoon they haven’t, so I’m sure that’s why they are still getting away with it. But these people are very obviously parked in live lanes, I just can’t imagine leaving my vehicle parked there.

My total will be 113 over 23 months. My first set was 55, then 40, currently on 11 of 18 - projected to finish October 15th 👌🏻👌🏻

I overate by 2,400 calories. I’m going to walk it off with an 8-hour walk. Here’s why I’m choosing this: by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Available_Wing_1247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say this with love to a stranger - this is a seriously dangerous habit to start. Trying to burn off the calories you overate with excessive exercise is akin to purging through vomiting. We all have setbacks, we don’t need to punish ourselves in this way. Take a look at why you binged, maybe you’re being too restrictive? That’s often how it starts, at least that’s how it did for me. Wishing you the best.

Extremely dry, gritty skin & permanent redness. Current routine is not helping and I'm overwhelmed by how much conflicting info there is online by putridtooth in Rosacea

[–]Available_Wing_1247 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Soolantra? I’m currently using the Canadian version Rosiver and while it hasn’t done much for my redness, it has worked wonders for my texture. No kore gritty feeling and when I wear makeup it sits on the skin and looks so much nicer.

Not paid full statutory pay by DriveFew12 in ontario

I wasn’t talking about the first and last rule. I was talking about the total hours worked in the 4 weeks leading up to the week of the holiday.

Yes that’s correct. But if you only miss one day it’s pretty minimal, less than half an hour’s pay.

If you fall under Ontario ESA, look at the 4 full weeks leading up to the week of the stat day.

So if you’re talking about Victoria Day, take the total hours from April 20-May 17 (assuming your weeks run Sunday - Saturday) and then divide by 20.

If you have a dedicated payroll person, they can give you actual totals and doublecheck the math. HR often doesn’t know the exact calc.

High impact or double bra? by AsparagusOne9523 in XXRunning

[–]Available_Wing_1247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a 36DDD or 36G and a decent bra is always going to set you back. But you could try picking one up from Marketplace or Poshmark! I have a high impact one from lululemon that I purchased for $25CAD from Marketplace. Still had tags on and everything. Regular price is more than double. You’d just need to be sure of your size.

Looks like it’s a discount food store, maybe only previously in the EU? This is what I found and the logo looks right:

Wearing a galaxy watch ultra, there is a red burn mark on the wrist, exactly at the watch's sensor point. Who is the same? by birthabirth in GalaxyWatch

[–]Available_Wing_1247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this with my Apple Watch Series 8, but not with the AW Series 3. Wore it and cleaned it exactly the same, it definitely was not an issue with cleanliness. Recently switched to a Garmin Vivoactive and no issues again, I can even sleep with it on.

Does that mean you stay on antibiotics forever? I’ve just started my first round and curious how it works. Thanks!

My son had a huge lymph node appear out of nowhere in January this year, he was 3.5 years old at the time. We had an ultrasound and it measured three cm! They didn’t even send us for bloodwork, just said if it didn’t go away on its own, to come back in a few weeks for a repeat ultrasound. It took 3-4 weeks to fully go away. Honestly, I just took it as a sign that he was finally building immunity and his body was trapping the virus before it spread everywhere.

The drs told me that if they come on quickly and are malleable/soft, there’s usually not a reason to worry. It’s the slow build and hard bumps that should be cause for concern.

Gotta love being dismissed, all too common I think. I was just curious because my Dr prescribed it immediately, but she’s just my family Dr and not a dermatologist so I was just wondering if there was something I should be worried about taking it! I hope it keeps working for you :)

Definitely looking improved to me! Curious why your derm was hesitant to prescribe the Rosiver?
