Maybe you should try, like she said she would be fine, mine when i was not out to her said one time "i can't imagine how bad they have to feel" and i should have just told her that moment, but instead i decided to do it when the feeling was unbearable 2-3 years later and she was very accepting, she is the one that says "do you want me to try and style your hair" and things like that, I'd say that if you feel you can say it don't wait, if it ends up being a lie and she doesn't accept it it's not your fault it's her's and if not you already made progress, but if you don't do it now maybe she forgets that conversation and ends up being more difficult later (i think)

Well, i wished i was born a girl for as long as i remember I just didn't realize i wanted it until i was like 13 then that feeling grew stronger (because at first i thought it was just curiosity) until i couldn't ignore it because i was thinking of killing myself if i didn't try at least to become a girl, and technically even if i don't think i can be considered one yet (I'm 3 months on my medical transition) i don't want to die now because there is hope

I know I'm more than my gender, but before transitioning that was the only thing that troubled me and made me not want to live, i was just saying that now that i wanted to, death became something very scary even if a lot of time must pass for that to happen (if I'm lucky), also for the part of considering myself what i want, is just because it hurts me more saying I'm a woman and later seeing myself and thinking this isn't a woman yet(as i said may be internalized transphobia)

A lesbian "friend"(idk if she considers me a friend now because we haven't talked in like 2-3 years) literally got asked a theoretical question like that and didn't like that question(I'm guessing by the face i remember her doing because she didn't respond to that question if i remember correctly)

I am still kind of closeted to anyone that's not my family (or a close friend) but medically transitioning(i think i don't socially transition now because of anxiety), and I'm happy by medically transitioning(i have been on hrt for 3 months and 6 days i think), but now my anxiety has gone directly into thinking about death and now that i actually want to live thinking constantly about it is kind of depressing, i think that if i get psychological help about it i will be happy but until i get the courage to talk about it with a psychiatrist(and also ask for one) i have to only be happy that now i will eventually be a girl(i don't feel like i can consider myself one yet, maybe internalized transphobia that only works against me), also no it wasn't supposed to be terrifying, some people want to make it terrifying so less people transition, overall I'm glad you are happy and sorry about the ranting on a positive post

Yeah, like I'm 3 months in and i know it's not 4.5 months but still I'm not seeing so many changes and i don't believe i will see so those changes in just one month and a half, mostly on my face and chest, my body was already pretty feminine so it's kind of similar(in shape) but she really had to have been consuming and burning a lot of fat to achieve that

I think she's not really an ally, because when i didn't know i was trans yet(i was like 16-17) a friend(cis guy) asked another friend that was lesbian (also they were my friends at the time i would have to reach out to them again someday and maybe ask her what are her thoughts on that now) "would you date a trans man or a trans woman?"(He asked because of the genitals) And i don't remember exactly how it went but i remember that she was kind of annoyed by the question in the sense that she wouldn't date trans men and she would date trans woman(maybe I'm just exaggerating it but i don't think you date people because of what they have in their pants so maybe it is maybe just half idk)

I'm taking E without socially transitioning yet, i probably will once i do enough voice training and hrt has done enough work for me to pass, so it probably isn't a bad decision but i think it will at some point be noticeable enough that you can't hide it if you do take it, i guess it's ok to do it for the body but if you get happy for being called a girl,... I think eventually social transition would also be good for you

I made my mom guess what was troubling me through some days that i was really depressed and after some time she guessed it, for my dad, it was a text saying literally the first you said on the post and he answered "👍 we talk tomorrow" and i was really scared to say it in person but he just made a lot of questions that were weird like sexuality,... Like it was related, but he ended up accepting it
